Either take an immediate starter at cornerback, or defensive end...or trade down, and the Rams would be a good travel.

With two more second round picks, grab a RB, DE, DT, and CB.

I am sure I will be excited and get behind who ever they pick.

That said I would prefer Goff, Ramsey, Weintz, Jack or trade down (elliot, spence, rankins) in that order.

Cast your votes!

  1. Trade up to 1st overall to secure your favorite QB. (Assume cost is approx. 2016 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 2017 1st)
  2. Stay at 4 and take your favorite QB ONLY if he falls to you
  3. Stay at 4 and take a QB if he is one of your top 2 (so basically, take one no matter what)
  4. Stay at 4 and take your favorite non-QB player ...so BPA non QB
  5. Trade down to 7th ( Dallas gets a premium ..say approx. 1900 instead of 1800 on trade chart. ex is maybe Dallas 1st and 4th for SF's 1st and 2nd)
  6. Trade down to 15th ( Dallas' gets a premium ..say approx. 1900 instead of 1800 on trade chart. ex is maybe Dallas' 1st and 4th for SF's 1st and BOTH 2nds)

trade chart reference (not in stone, but try to stay within 5% to keep it real)

What would the Stealers ( spelled it like that on purpose) Packers Ravens Pats do? That's would we should do.

I maybe didn't word question 3 right, but since we can only vote once, at least the pro top 4 QB vote is getting counted, I guess.

If question 2 says only if it's youR 1st choice, then question 3 should have read "would you still take a QB if your 1st choice is gone...so your 2nd QB choice". Not sure that was clear.

In the, anyone choosing option 3 is saying that BOTH of their two favorite QBs are worth a top 4 pick.
It surprises me that so many here feel there are 2 QBs in this draft worth a top 4 pick.
Eye opening

we spent years taking about wanting to emphasis the run. We spent years drafting linemen with out number 1 picks to help us with the run game.
fine. be a run first team. Why arent we then getting a runner.

With our #4 pick this year, I want:

(1) no trade up, AND
(2) EITHER a QB OR a 2017 1st-round pick.

Anything else will be disappointing. Maybe only mildly disappointing, and maybe not the team's fault (if the QBs are gone and the trade offer isn't there or they love Bosa/Ramsey/someone else), but disappointing nonetheless.

Option B would probably have to be the Rams trade.
Instead of both of their mid 2016 2nd rounders, it would be a 2017 1st rounder and one of the 2nds.....which are normally valued about the same.

That gives you the 15th overall, plus an extra 2nd (one of theirs), plus a 1st next year
With two 1sts next year, we'd be in prime shape to take a QB if we didn't this year...or whatever player we want
And with a 1st and 2 nds this year, we could move up from 15th or 34th easily

So far
51 would take a QB at 4 or higher
42 would not

So basically it is
Option 1) Draft a QB you know will set the bench for 2 years and have a ??% chance to become a descent starting QB
Option 2) Trade down and gain 3-4 starters in a draft heavy with the players you really need giving your current QB a shot IF all can remain healthy

IMO, Option 2 is a way better option UNLESS you are very certain the ??% from option one is Very Very high.

Trade to #15 and land the best quick twitch Rushing DE in the Draft.

Take that Trade ammo and move back into the 1st for another potential Franchise in Lynch or Elliot.

I am definitely for QB #1. But the more I see this kid Elliott run the more I think we would be CRAZY not to take him. He looks like Emmitt Smith with more speed. This kid would absolutely destroy the NFL behind our line. And if there is any shred of a hope that they win one with Romo, this has to be the pick.

I claim this as my response so.
Except the wanting a QB part.

my option isn't on there...stay @ #4 and draft Defense, unless Wentz is there...
