That means our run defense was # 10 out of 32

The 3 guys on our D line are good.


Our Pass Defense was ranked # 24 out of 32.

That would be Henry, A Glenn, and Williams.

We will be drafting a CB in the 1st/2nd round.

Considering that our defense was designed to stop the run, looked for run first on EVERY play, even passing downs, and could only muster 10th best at stopping the run means somthing to me.

Our DL is completely awful at transitioning from run to pass & recognition. And that isn't even a coaching thing - Parcells actually got on them for that. They need to watch some damn film.

I really doubt we draft a DE. We have 4 potential starters and just let a 5th go. We could definitely pick up a backup NT. Also, it's likely that we'll draft WR on the first day, but it's not getting many votes.

Changing the HC and DC will make a ton of difference.

A better pass rush = a better pass defense.

If a QB is comfortable moving in the pocket, then naturally the OC is going to call more passing plays than running plays. A poor pass rush can destroy a team quicker than anything else. It results in early TD's that put your team behind, then your offense has to play catch up, which usually results in mistakes, penalties, turnovers, bad field position etc. It really all starts up front and this has been mentioned many, many times before.

Our d-line is our worst unit. That doesn't make it bad. Worst when your other units have players like Jason Witten, TO, Newman, etc. is still pretty good.

Worst of the best, not best of the worst.

Im going to say the secondary because of the simple fact, Henry has trouble with Wide Receivers that are faster than him and get by him with no problem.

I believe we need another conerback on the other side of Newman like Leon Hall, Chris Houston, Damein Hughes, or Reggie Nelson.

Wade = average at best so far in coaching and he may be a puppet of sorts... maybe not like previous ones BUT puppet nonetheless... we will have to win in spite of Jerry's meddling IF we do win...

Stewart = worked under Wade in SD before that with Texans

Based on Wade's history as a head coach and what has occurred at VR since Wade has been hired, how can you honestly conclude that Phillips is a puppet?

I listed OL although it was a toss up with the secondary. I realize Dallas made some change on the OL but until I see it work I'll have some doubt. After years of seeing us make a change only for it to fail I'm no longer going to get my hopes too high.
