Image: Pollack wasn't too happy with Randle

I am. It wasn't like he made an outstanding play. He just risked the possession unnecessarily. Those are the kinds of plays that change games. Had the hit been a fraction of a second sooner, we'd be talking about him being the goat for the early part of the season.

Plus, he's not listening to what the coaches have explicitly told him. That's grounds for benching right there. It doesn't matter to me a bit if he scored that one time if I found out he can't be trusted to do what he's told the rest of the times he's handed the ball.

There are other backs on the roster at or near his level of ability. He has no leverage for pulling stuff like this.

your coaches are failing at every level. you got no team, the guy scored a TD, and your pissed. yes, bench the guy who overcame it all and scored teh TD. do you know how easy running tds are to get. past teh plane, he did that. so yes, if a play breaks down, lets not have our guys score tds, lets have them ask the coaches what to do. he saw an opp to score teh TD and he took it, as i said and Garrett proves me right, if something is working, dallas abandons it.

you give back the 6 points and bench the guy for getting a touchdown, please.

I cant recall either, but when they showed Randle on the side line, other players were pretty upset with him. Does anyone have any footage?

Randel got lucky. Next time maybe someone's body blocks the camera angle for replay. Maybe next time the ball comes out a split second sooner and it is a fumble.

My biggest issue he was told to not dive for a TD last week. Then he decides to do it the first chance he gets

Regardless it is stupid ball handling skills.

Agreed, he did it last week, and now it looks like a trend. Is that seriously the only way he can get in on goal line? Theres no shooting the gap or busting it to the outside anymore?

This week was a 360 spinning act with the ball in one hand. Maybe its a back flip and a cartwheel next week.

Was there an equivalent look of outrage on the sidelines after the 2 game costing non-TO calls? Because, unlike Randle's TD, those gaffs actually cost us the game.

Touchdown coach..

Teach your guys how to block 8 guys at 1 time and quit worrying about our best offensive weapon.

Dude, stop. Haha

I really have no idea the weird defense of Randle here. He screwed up, what is there to debate here?

im torn on it.

on the one hand, coaches said dont do that

on the other hand, the coaches are so inept do I really trust them?

on the other other hand, Ive been saying when you're injured, you've gotta be more aggressive and take more risks...he was aggressive and took the risk and got 6 points.

JG woulda been happy and clapping to turn that into a field goal. which I vehemently disagree with.

is anyone really mad he scored for us, seriously? The only reason that was in doubt was because we are so paranoid. and Randle knew it was a td, how is that different from anyone else who crosses the plane?

The problem is that they instructed him not to jump the pile after doing so last week, demonstrating a lack of discipline while defiant is a theme with this guy.

teh problem is the play callng doenst include touchdowns and teh player got one. I think Garrett should be impressed 1 player decided hes listened enoug, believed he could get it, got it and now they are irked stupid.

The problem with Randle's move is that he got away with it there, but you do NOT do something like that, especially on first down. It didn't matter this game, but there are others where a move like that will cost us points. You don't want to march the ball all the way down the field only to lose a TD because the runningback is trying to be cute around the goal line.

Sometimes you get lucky doing the wrong thing. I think this is one of those cases.
