Zeke's carries are in the more difficult situations, most of the time, actually. Because they Cowboys have structured it that way.
The Bears is an indicator, but still a small sample size. I'm not trying to dissuade anyone of Pollard's ability. And I think he makes our offense more explosive. But I think it's also about "availability," as Jerry said. And we need Pollard available rather than injured, which is a smart move in the longrun, I'd say.
That said, I also thought Malik Davis played well, and so could Ollison/Shampklin, if they were ever to bring Shamp back. Shampklin is a lot like Pollard, actually, imo while Ollison is more like Zeke. And Davis is more of a mix between Zeke and Pollard.
Computer geeks cause so much headache by manipulating numbers.
Who do you want in short yardage situations?
Who lines up in Power at the 1 yard line?
Why can't we just appreciate having both?
These are rhetorical questions.
Who runs with 8 stacked in the box, right into the pile?
You're correct.
