I wouldnt have given Zeke a second contract but teams need multiple RBs and this is what we have.

This issue I've always had with the Zeke's contract was the timing. He was going to have 2 years left on the contract and was just a season removed from his suspension. Felt the Cowboys should have played harder ball. He would have been a free agent after last year's down year and the Cowboys would either be franchising him for 8.6 million or negotiating a smaller deal than what was signed.

Remember when Zeke was holding out. Pollard and Webb were looking like a great one-two punch in those preseason games.

Pollard looks amazing. He had a tough spell early in his career and always seemed to go down in the first tackle. What a player he's become.

I doubted Moore's ability to make a running game plan that incorporates both. He did it here. AND....the RBs and team executed it.

I am impressed. With this philosophy...we can indeed be better and compete with anyone.

I've said this I'm another thread, I strongly believe using both Zeke and Pollard like they did today is a great strategy. Zeke may never lead the league in yardage again, but he's still a handful to tackle.
