This debate will never, ever be settled. The Boys and Skins games are always so bizarre and close that there will always be an excuse for one side or the other.

There's a debate? On what?

Oh shut up. You said something stupid and got called on it. Don't make it any bigger than that.

Awwwww... I'm sorry Hostile. Did I hurt your feelings by pointing out the obvious (that Cowboys fans will usually side with, gasp, cowboys fans) and making you realized that you missed the elephant in the room?

No.

Next question. Try and make this one relevant.

Good job on most assidously avoiding the Seahawk post... Anyways, it's a lose-lose situation. We make a big splash in FA and it's "you overspent again, yada yada yada..." We don't upgrade (but oh my god, is that continuity?) and we didn't "upgrade".

the Seahawk angle is freakin' ********, that's like us bringing up the Titans, who we blew out, while you guys lost to them

I don't know what either has to do w/ anything we're talking about, your guy's argument basically amounts to, "yeah, we sucked, but at least we beat so and so 2 years ago"

Maybe later tonight at work, I'll go through their other 14 games, see how many long passes they gave up for the season... having watched most or all of all 16 games they played, I'm betting they gave up a lot of deeper passes...

off the top of the dome, the Skins led the league in pass plays of over 40 yards given up, perhaps someone else could delve further

Oh, a fluke win... Just like the fluke win in 05? "Two TD passes in the final minutes of the game and it'll never happen again." The next game... 35-7. Got the hammer put to us huh? Terry Glenn's TD should had been called back because of a horrible hold by Witten and 27-10 isn't the hammer exactly. Not with the second game in a completely new offensive system.

bringing up 2 years ago still

wow, you're freakin' pathetic

The question isn't whether you had fun or not. It's whether you learned anything or not?

The team that wins the last game is the best was beyond silly.

A very inexperienced QB, sorta like Romo. So, we had one down defensive year, and that's it, pack it in? We should only show up for half the games...

Romo is going to be a 5 year vet this year

Actually, when we laugh at your free agent spending, it's to laugh at WHO you paid all that money to...

As for "continuity", when you've just gone 5-11, an upgrade in TALENT would seem to be in order...

Finally, as for "avoiding" the Seahawks post, I don't know what it is you think I'm supposed to respond to... I've already mocked you Skins fans for your SHOULD have done this and that, told you that it's the mantra of a LOSER...

Yeah, Romo bobbled a snap, and the Cowboys lost... I've gotten over it, and am looking forward to next season... I have a good deal more reason to be confident about that season than you do, with your 5-11 team that did little to upgrade this offseason...

Hmmm...Interesting. Aren't the Houston Texans the last team to beat the Colts? Crown them why won't you.

Not only are trolls annoying but they are not too smart either.

You have to be stupid to play the troll...

Oh okay, so one year somehow erases many years of dominance before it? Oh no! Saunders had a #1 offense for 2004, 2005 and 2006.

With the Kansas City Chiefs, not the Washington Commanders...

Yet, he switches teams and drops to 13 and now he has no clue what he's doing? Or wait, maybe the players just had to adjust to a very complex system.

Or maybe the talent in DC isn't equal to what he had in Kansas City... it doesn't surprise me that you missed the point, which was to mock the Skins, not Saunders...

And Gregg Williams lost his best CB, LB and DL for periods of time and now everyone forgets that his defenses has been consistently top 10 for years???

His defenses in Washington have been steadily REGRESSING... 3rd the first year, 10th the second, 31st the third...

This is what they call a TREND, troll...

I keep waiting for you to bring something that isn't weak, but I'm starting to believe my expectations are too high for you... it's pretty clear that you're not equipped to match wits with your friendly local Bear...

Hmmm, I don't know about you, but when a team beats another team, I tend to think the winning team is the better of the two.

Oh.

Now I get it.

You have eyes, you just have no idea what "most recent" means.

Any given sunday. But when "worse teams" consistently beat you (like the Skins, Detriot, a crippled Seattle with no secondary), I tend to think there maybe something in it...

But when 11 out of 16 teams beat you, you don't seem to think there may be something to THAT??

Interesting... quite stupid, but interesting...

It's fun, watching you try to convince us that our 9-7 team is in deep trouble, but your 5-11 team is on the verge of greatness... ROTFLMAO...

I wouldn't go beating your chest about how great your pass defense is.

And when did I make ANY representations regarding how good our pass defense is??

Kindly show me ONE quote from me, woofin' about our pass defense...

Once again, lacking a response that's on-topic, you try to change the subject; YOU were the one suggesting that the Skins' pass defense was gonna somehow be better this coming season, and I responded to that suggestion...

Changing the subject, like playing the SHOULD have game, is for losers... it's what you're forced to resort to when you don't HAVE anything else...

Let's focus on the most RECENT history then. I remember something about 19-22, Skins win...

firehawk350;1503840 said:
Oh, you must mean the same crippled Seahawks that SHOULD have won the super bowl except for some crappy officiating? Well, they couldn't have possibly been worse then the horribly crippled Seahawks that dispatched you without the previous bye week to rest up (like with the Skins) and a secondary filled with guys off the street.

I wouldn't go beating your chest about how great your pass defense is. Unless NFL.com lies, Washington gave up 218 yards/game and Dallas gave up 219/game.

First off, I figured out why you are called silverbear, but that's going to wait for now. Second off, I never said the Skins should have won that game. Things went wrong, but unless I am mistaken, I believe that WE put Shaun out of the game. And should have was the calling card of your (you as in Cowboys fans) argument for losing the last Skins game. And the Seahawks game. The fact with the Seahawks game is that EVEN if you would have scored that FG, you had no ability to stop the Seahawks in any phase of their game. And your defense failed you on the two yard line and let Alexander seal the game with a 30 something yard run. You should have lost and therefore you did. Against a much more crippled (and worse) Seahawks (without rest) then the Skins did in 05.
And do you disagree that the Seahawks should have won the super bowl? That's subjective. But again, I never said the Skins should have won the other game, minus one play.

firehawk350;1503878 said:
Oh excuse me Silverbear. You guys are so wise and sage. How can a poor little guy like me ever compete with you having no ability to comprehend basic english, putting words in my mouth and those horrible, horrible big words you think validate your argument. Special contempt. Get the F- over yourself dude, your special contempt means absolutely nothing. As if, by you calling me a hypocrite, I'm going to lose sleep or money over it.
Who is the real idiot here? I sit here and laugh that you hold contempt and hate for somebody you never met. You sit there and stew in your own rage because somebody you don't know can say a couple of words and get you so riled up. That's what I call a loser.

lol

the 1st quote you have of him is saying "let's talk about recent history", then he's delving into '05, Greg Williams and Al Saunder's career, no mention of '06

sad
