Positive Nugget on Tet

Thing that worries me most about Tet is not long speed but short area quickness. To my extremely untrained eye, he looks a little clunky or slow footed when changing direction. Obviously, he is not Cedee Lamb, but you still expect a certain level of quickness. Definitely could be wrong, but it's especially concerning without the testing.

the chances of both Tmac and Jeanty being drafted before 12 is small, its another thing if we will draft either one of them.

Open target rate against single coverage:

Egbuka: 75.7%
Golden: 62.5%
McMillan: 62%
Hunter: 61.4%
Burden: 60%

With their recent moves (Jackson and Thuney), Jeanty has a great chance of going to Chicago at 10. Pretty glaring need and a great fit.

Tet should be there at 12

His pro comp I have read is Mike Evans. Fine with me. Bottom line: whoever it is, hit on the pick.
I don’t think he’s anywhere close to a Mike Evans comp. Maybe D London.

12 is way too high for Tet. Grabbing a number 2 in the top third of the 1st round makes little sense.

We lack weapons.

It makes sense.

Just about anything we do makes sense because we have a severe lack of talent.

I'm with you on McMillan. Contested catch college receivers scare me. To use a top 15 pick on one hoping they can carry that over to the NFL is high risk. This offense needs juice. Someone who can threaten and take the top off of a defense.
Plus Dak's comfort zone is throwing to guys who are wide open, so the contested catch ability is kind of wasted with him.

I agree…while he might not be the most twitchy WR his catch radius and hands are elite. Every time I watch a scouting report they also say he’s a good route runner and does a great job finding soft spots in zone.
But at 12th overall, is it worth it to take that limited a player? The only other time you drafted this high in the last 8 years was Micah. You should be getting a sure fire perennial pro bowler; a compliment to CeeDee can be found on day 2

I dont think he’s “that limited a player.” He’s currently 7th on the consensus big
board so I’m feeling good about taking him
if he even makes it to us.

I get that it’s a need, but feels like a reach. There is still instability in the trenches and there are a few guys that will be available to address the front seven that are rated higher than Tet.

Had the same need last year as there really wasn’t a true wr2 going in and last years class was loaded at WR.

Tet falling to 12 doesn’t have the same BPA feel that had Dallas picking Parsons or Lamb.

Tet is the 7th ranked player on the consensus big board.

What trench player do you think will be available that is rated higher?

I’m all for getting more linemen but right now our offensive line is miles better than our skill positions.

We got Lamb and that is it. 0 weapons outside of CD.

Well in a way they drafted a wr by trading away a fourth rounder.

But yeah outside of Lamb and Turpin, most of the talent surrounding is mid at best.
