Terrance "Mountain" Cody

Height: 6-4. Weight: 370.
Projected 40 Time: 5.50.
Projected Round (2010): 1-2.
1/26/10: Terrence Cody weighed in at 370 at the Senior Bowl. This is a concern, but with quality nose tackles being so rare, Cody still has a shot at the first round.

11/20/09: Did a great job losing some weight this year and has shown more effort on the field. He's likely the only stud nose tackle who will be available this offseason, so even though he's only a two-down player, he'll be a hot commodity.

5/19/09: Terrence Cody has been accused of not being in shape and taking plays off, but he's still a first-round prospect; it's not like talented nose tackles grow on trees.

11/23/08: Terrence Cody said he's not declaring early, but once he discovers that he has a great shot at being drafted in the top 15, he could reconsider. Cody is a monstrous run-stuffer and should be a Kris Jenkins-like difference-maker at the next level.

Why would we use a high pick on him? He's not going to replace Rat or play anywhere near his level.

...and we do need depth behind Ratliff. He goes down, we're hurting on defense.

not just that, but our D would be unstoppable

give Rat a breather, and you have a man-mountain controlling the pocket

the possibilities are endless

I still say grab him in the 2nd if he's there.

Like bob said, We wouldn't lose much with Cody in to give Rat a breather.

Our run defense gets ALOT better and maybe you can rush Ratliff off the DE spot in some passing downs.

Rat and Ware on one side would be amazing.

Cody will never be worth a crap in the NFL... in fact, those who say he'll probably eat himself out of the league are more than likely correct...

If you show up for your first round of job interviews for the NFL weighing 370 freakin' pounds, that should send up a huge red flag... this kid has zero discipline...

Even Nate Newton looks at this kid and says "Gawd, dude, you're FAT"...

wasn't there an Offensive Tackle from Alabama that everyone ****ted on before the draft?

Andre Smith was his name

I tend to agree with that but nobody knows how he will do in the NFL at this point.

Didn't the Bengals pick him and he promptly went on IR after finally signing a contract?

Or am I thinking of someone else?

LOL! But I do remember Nate when he was signed by the Cowboys, he weighed about the same as Cody does now although Nate was about 2-3inches shorter. THAT would have been even more scary a pic if one was taken of Nate, lol! Maybe not in the 1st round but I'd be awfully tempted to gamble and take Cody in the 2nd if available...

The only way I would draft this guy is if his contract contained weight and snap percentage clauses.

fat blob or not

he's ions better than Junior Siavii
Ion -noun (Physics or Chemistry) one of the electrically charged particles formed in a gas by electric discharge or the like. An electrically charged atom or group of atoms formed by the loss or gain of one or more electrons. Invisible to the naked eye.

Not much better if it is only ions.

Are the visible to the fully clothed eye?
