DL looks like the sweet spot for Dallas this year. Lots of stud muffins will be available in that early teens range.

The offensive talent this year isn't doing a lot for me. Kelvin Banks is the only guy who I'd be OK with at say #13, who also might make it to #13. But there's like half a dozen DTs and DEs who are deserving of that pick, and they can't all get taken before us.
100%. Pearce, Williams and Harmon are all guys that could realistically be there that would be a great match of BPA and need.

I had been waiting to see Jeanty for myself. So far, it's what I expected against better competition.

Im about to make a case for Jeanty being off the board before us...

1) League seems to be reverting back to running game to take advantage of 6 or 7 defenders in the secondary
2) Playoff football almost requires a decent running game for clubs that dont have elite QB play or elite dfense
3) The rb has been devalued for 15 years due to being marginalized by moneyball...yet stud rb's continue to get scooped early when there is hype on one

I think Jeanty goes earlier than 10. I could be wrong. The World like to gaslight me and try and enrage me with being wrong...but why would the League all the sudden decide to shun Jeanty if he is one of best prospects ever combined with the above 3 points unless it just wants to make me look wrong?

Moneyballing the rb was around before Zeke and he got scooped before 10. Jeanty is a better prospect supposedly...

Why would the League decide to shun Jeanty with HUGE hype around his talent? Why would they do it THIS YEAR? Can anyone provide an intelligent answer?

It's what I already knew. He is awesome, strong as a bull, totally outstanding. He is the best back in the draft. He could be one of the top backs in the NFL next season. He is a solid 1st round pick.

The only reason I could see Jeanty fall to us in because he is 5’9. I don’t think he will be a top 10 pick because of his size and it appears the teams I am afraid might draft him Raiders and Browns will probably go in another direction.

I have only watched him tonight but I feel confident that he will not be the best back out of this draft class. 3rd round feel to me.

I get that he has the build & you can see some talent but Penn St. has pretty much shut him down.
