it is when the other two qb's who are going to play are really nowhere near ready to lead an offense.

Saw this trade on a Cowboys Twitter feed.

We trade Leary and a late-round draft pick to the Skins for Colt McCoy.

he is their backup, they just signed him to a new contract. Why would they trade him? Broaddus was talking about him the other day too and I didn't understand why. It would never happen.

if romo was hurt i would agree give those reps to Dak, sign a vet who can pick up the system when he gets here...people are acting like romo is hurt he isnt therefore trading any pick or player just to get someone in here just doesnt make sense to me..

Give Dak every preseason snap and play Romo the game before the srason opens.

Move Showet up to #3 and give him a couple of halves to see what he knows.

Depending on Romo to last or some 15 yr vet to save us is non-sense.

Get the youngsters going now in earnest.

There is no reason to wait any longer.

Lets try to prepare for the worst instead of whistling past the graveyard.

exactly this talk is all preparation if Romo gets injured...there will be a vet available soon its only Aug 5...

You're right, he was splitting time between QB and safety (and maybe another position). I'm just making the point that 2016 is the first year he's 100% QB.
