Well, the only way to do this right is to break down the NFL so ...

Pats - Brady
Jets - Pennington
Bills - Losman. Gave up on Bledsoe for Losman, so he's not going back.
Dolphins - Wasted money and time on Culpepper and Harrington. Plus no OL.

Ravens - McNair. Possiblility though if McNair is done after the season.
Bengals - Palmer.
Browns - Frye.
Steelers - Roethelisberger.

Colts - Peyton.
Jags -Leftwich. Also, they could use Garrard, he's good.
Titans - Young.
Texans - Carr.

Broncos - Cutler will start next year.
Chargers - Rivers.
Cheifs - Green. and Huard may have earned himself some more time for the future.
Raiders - Possible, but no OL. He'd get destroyed.

Giants - Eli.
Cowboys - Romo.
Eagles - McNabb.
Commanders - Burnell or Campbell.

Bears - Grossman
Vikings - Johnson and they like their backup alot, I forget his name though. But I guess it's a possibility and they have a very good OL.
Lions - Kitna and McCown.
Packers - If they're gonna go with a old QB that throws a ton of picks, atleast go with one the fans love. Plus Aaron Rodgers is waiting in the wings.

Saints - Brees.
Falcons - Vick and Schaub.
Bucs - Simms and Gradkowski.
Panthers - Delhomme

Seahawks - Hasselback
49ers - Smith
Cardinals - Leinart
Rams - Bulger and that Fitzpatrick kid did good in limited time last year.

So that leaves us with Ravens, Raiders, or Vikings. The only one I even see as a very good possibility is the Ravens and that's pending on McNair leaving or retiring.

What do ya'll think?

The raiders would take him, al loves the vertical passing game, one of bledsoe's strengths and look at all the talented wr's they have.

I could see it happening.

The Raiders are at the top of my list as well. Bledsoe to Moss and Porter has DEEP threat potential.

Need to beef up the O-line in the off-season.

Drew has already said Dallas is his last stop. I think he heads back to Montana after the season.

He said that assuming that he was going to be the starter here well into 2007 and beyond.....but obviously that didn't happen and he's still 34 and could be productive on a new team.

Assuming he sits the rest of the year he will be fresh going into 2007.....might actually be beneficial and add a year or two to his career.

I honestly can't see any other team taking him...in fact I would go on to say that even as a backup I think he would have a real hard time finding work

Then you need to come back to reality. Obviously you have some issue with Bledsoe that is not related to his playing.

Right now, Bledsoe is arguably better than quite a few starting qbs in this league (e.g., Alex Smith, Brunell, Pennington, Harrington, Walter, Frye, Losman... and I think he could be better than Brad Johnson in that system). And he is sure as hell better than any backup in the league (although I'm sure someone will throw Schaub out there). Now there is certainly an argument that a team might want to stick with a younger qb in order to help him grow, so several of those teams would go with the inferior quarterback to develop them. But, nevertheless, only an idiot would say that Bledsoe is not talented enough to be a backup to those inferior quarterbacks.

That you think he wouldn't find work as a backup is absurd and shows that you make your "honest" statements based on personal prejudice instead of objective analysis.

The only question of whether Bledsoe plays next year is whether he can find a team that will guarantee him a starting role. I think he would retire instead of being a backup. I don't think any team guarentees him a starting role with the exception of the Raiders (although with their line, that would be a bad idea).

I wish he'd stay here as BU, but it won't happen. He'll fancy himself a starter and ask to be released. Oh well...

Bledsoe is better than ANY back up QB in the league and a lot of starters as well so give it up.

Still holding out hope for your boy I see. Drew is a competitor and great guy. He will also be on the other side of 35 next year. He is done. A starting gig next year...only if he does not mind playing for the Raiders or Detroit. To be honest I dont think even senile Al Davis would want Drew Bledsoe as his starter next year, but of course he is senile so I suppose it is possible and he loves old vets to boot.

Time to face the facts. Drew is a shell of what he used to be. What he used to be is up for debate, but what he is now really is not.

Not sure why you can not see that.

You have a blatant anti-bledsoe agenda and it's been well documented as evidence of your signatures. I could care less what you think.....

Even if this is true (and I expect it is at least partially true), do you really think teams will start Bledsoe at his age and given his problems over a younger player who still has the potential to develop?

And we already know Bledsoe isn't interested in being a back-up.

We were a 3-2 football team before Drew was pulled by our idiot head coach as a desperate move to save his overrated legacy. The guy wins everywhere he goes and soon will be turning around his FOURTH Nfl franchise in 2007....take it to the bank!

As for Romo I truly hope he is the real deal, because if not this will be the biggest blunder this franchise has ever made.

The only teams I see as remote possibilities are Oakland and Detroit. Oakland because well...Al Davis is old andsenile and loves old and big armed QBs.

Detroit, well their GM is not old but borderline senile. I could see him making a desperate attempt to save his job assuming he does not get canned at the end of the year.

Baltimore, I just do not see it. Steve McNair will not do a one and done with Baltimore...IMO, unless he physically can not go on.

Yes I really think a team like oakland, kc or minny that has talent around them (raiders have a top 5 defense that is young and getting better every week) will want a veteran like Bledsoe...

Just think about it, Brad Johnson is 38 freaking years old......Trent green I believe is 36 or 37 and might not even return in KC given Huards play (another old veteran)....guarantee Bledsoe at 35 will be given a chance especially by a front office that realizes the circumstances in Dallas and that Drew was pulled WITH A WINNING RECORD!

Bledsoe > McNair.....so I do see it happening, their line is much better than ours and his play has not been good at all.

I will give you credit, you are Bledsoe's biggest fan.

Drew Bledsoe...another franchise QB that will be on his fourth team. Yeah that happens all the time.

Understand one thing. If Bledsoe were to go to a team with a good OL, you can bet your bottom dollar they will not be considered good once they have to protect Bledsoe. It is like magic.

If he does end up going to the Raiders. The Merriman's and the Bronco's would love teeing off on him twice a year.

I just feel that Drew got a raw deal, not that I'm not rooting for Romo to be successful....but this team was 3-2 when he was benched despite his 'poor' play.

You don't think that GM's around the league aren't going to realize this and know he could be a great signing especially if he sits the rest of the season and doesn't take a beating behind our crap line?
