See the heartbreak now is only setting up the joy we will have when we win the superbowl

That foot is going to hobble Dez all year running on it. Sports medicine or not, that's minimum 6-8 weeks and a year after that of favoring it.

That fractured clavicle our franchise QB is dealing with right now? Yeah, 12 weeks and favoring it for almost 2 years.

That's if we're still in the hunt for the division. No wild card out of this division folks.

There's no RB to carry this offense and when our hobbled WR gets back teams are going to force our air game more and more every week. Guess what? We don't have it without # 9.

The FO has to say what they have to say. In case we haven't all noticed, Jerry and Stephen are doing the talking at this point. Not the HC.

A lot of salesmanship going on here folks. It is what it is.

The people falling overthemselves to say "dont rush back" are strange. Coming back doesnt mean rushing back. What would it take for you? "Dez Bryant has been ruled 100% by 3 doctors, each confirming that there is 0 risk of aggravating the injury". "No need to rush this"

How many times in your life have you been on suicide watch? Or do you just count times per month at this point?

It was because of Dez those receivers were open... Weeden's been pretty good at throwing to the open man this year, with Dez back he will have a lot more open receivers to throw to. Sound nice :)

Weeden has a strong arm, but does he have the touch to put it in the right spot. That's what I'm seeing. I'm ready to see what Cassel can do. We are staring at 2-3 and to go 2-4 would be very tough. We need pass rush, so hopefully Hardy provides enough of that.

They put a plate and fused the fracture together.

He's still going to feel it. He will be hobbled. If we think getting Dez back right out of the bye he's going to be the guy we remember right away?

Good luck with that.

No, but the teams doctors and the front office are the ones giving the timelines.

I don't need to be a doctor to know as a WR you need your feet as much as your hands.

If you think a player that comes back after 6 weeks from a foot fracture is not going to feel it and it won't affect anything, then by all means keep asking people who think the other way if they are doctors.

I'm not Dez Bryant, but I have fractured my foot, never got it fused since I was thankfully in a position to let it naturally heal as long as I did not increase damage. 2 years ago and I still feel it and the hair line is totally gone.

Not as much, but I feel it.

Sorry to hear about your lingering injuries. Meant no disrespect but Dez and the team know more about it then we can. If they say he will be back after the bye then I'm not going to say otherwise.

Yes it's possible he still feels it the rest of the season but some players can play through certain pain. Maybe a shot or he feels no pain at all, guess we will find out after the bye

Broke my calcaneous (heel bone) five years ago and the damn thing is still swollen. By no means am I an elite athlete but am and have always been a runner. Point being, it's the slowest healing part of the body and It really worries the hell out of me with dez coming back so soon.

I guess what some are concerned with is re-injuring the foot or sone other body part because he is favoring that foot. He will be back, but it will feel different. It will take some time for it to feel " natural" again. This doesn't mean he can't or won't play.

We could get Dez and Romo back and trade a 7th rounder for AP all tomorrow and some people would act like someone pissed in their cheerios.

Geez man up Cowboys fans.

There has been talks that he may be ready to return after the bye. If thats the case thats leaves us with one more game without Bryant

Bryant himself wont cure all that ills, but having a go to guy and a player defense need to account for would be huge

Bryant needs to stay out as long as needed. who knows, in a few weeks, he and Romo can probably just sit out the year...
