***Post game thread***

I am stopping short of jumping back on the fire Jason Garrett bandwagon.....for now. And the reason being, I think before today, he has done a pretty good job this year. But....when you are 8-3, you have to find a way to get your team in the playoffs. If they don't get in, you have to move on from him. So, my thinking is lets see what happens the rest of the way before we blast him.

The lack of any home field advantage is really embarrassing. There isn't a team in the league that is scared to play in Dallas. None. Too many corporate tickets and not enough diehard fans. The fans that could make a difference can't afford to go.

I think they will get another win, but not sure if they can get two. Jerry will consider that progress. But I maintain that 9-7 is not progress if at one point you are 8-3. We'll see.
if the team gave the fans much to cheer about, they would cheer. I don't think the team plays bad because the fans aren't loud, I think the fans aren't loud because the team plays bad at home.............

BrainPaint...looks like you covered all the possible excuse/blame threads except maybe the most obvious.

The Cowboys were dominated by a better team thread.

For all its shortcomings, I saw a defense giving it all they had for 4 quarters despite a lack of sustained drives by the offense and a lopsided score...bodies were being thrown around. I saw the OL and Murray pounding it and picking up blitzes. I did not see any receivers, including Dez and Witten, getting open, and I saw a QB who panicked when any white jerseys were near him, even when engaged by a blocker--something wasn't right with him.

Bottom line, it looked to me that our guys were trying, but despite complaints about game plans, I saw Philly as a better team that won in both trenches and a Philly secondary that covered us man to man and when in zone were in our routes before we were.

Maybe we will see something different in two weeks, but for now, anyone who doesn't think the Eagles are for real and the better team, man for man, are just in denial.

I still see us making the playoffs unless either Seattle or SF shock me.
Seattle has SF twice, Arizona and Philly.
SF has Seattle twice, Arizona and SD.

I'm pulling for Seattle tonight. Even if they finish 10-6, a tall order, we won head to head.

No, it wasn't a legal hit. You can't tee off on a player not making a play on the ball. It's the same as blindsiding the punter if the play is going the other way.
That's a penalty 10 out of 10 times.

He WAS making a play. Where were you? Should they let them walk the ball to any given spot? The opposition was in position to down the ball. Had Harris not called a fair catch and was trucked.....that's fair as well.

What i think is funny is after a loss like this, anyone sunshine pumping is ok, anyone speaking the truth is threatened with a banning. Yet, realism was correct today and i stand by it, Chip outcoached Garrett plain and simple. Is that negative or fact?

terrible

I hope the fans let the players hear it as they left the field

I hope the leaders of this team let each other hear it
For all the Linehan love, I find one glaring problem in his play calling. I never see a 1st down play action pass early in a game. Man we need some of that.
I don't like him and I think Detroit is happy he's no longer there

Just hope for a lot of losses by the lions and 49ers. Wildcard is the only way in.

It's both.

come on man, the fans weren't cheering very loud, thus we had no home field advantage!
