There's zero chance Pollard would sign anything right now. He knows the free agent market is waiting.

The boys waited too long, and who can blame them? They already have more money tied up in RB than they should. You don't double down on that.

As good as Pollard is, he won't be here next year.

Nobody has been this good, this fast. To be fair you're not wrong, Chase, Devontee etc.

JJ has it all though, and ridiculous numbers to back it.

Zeke can be released and that frees up about $12MM next season.....which coincidentally is almost right at what the franchise tag would cost the Cowboys. They can pretty much pick which player they want to keep in 2023, and right now Pollard is running away with that race. I would think it's just the opposite and there is zero chance Pollard isn't a Cowboys next year. The looming franchise tag is also a pretty strong bargaining chip for Dallas. Players hate it and want more long term security, especially at RB. Truth is Jerry has positioned himself very well in a Pollard negotiation.
