Did Davis say it was a poor throw or did he say the throw allowed the DB to be able to punch the ball out?

Because Davis had a point. If he throws it further ahead, the DB then can’t punch it out.

Anyone calling it a terrible throw is being crazy but reality is ball placement by the QB allowed the DB to be able to make a play on the ball.

So did the bobble by Jarwin.

Not true. Top ten D in 2007 and a good Defense in 2009, whose numbers compare to the 2018 defense and maybe even better in some cases. Also act like there weren't bad Romo games, where the D helped keep the team in it. Giving Romo a chance to come back and win.

Tell 'em lol

One passing route doesn’t prove anything. They spent their time making this offense Dak friendly and they use Zeke more in the passing game than they did with any RB prior. We run some run routes than prior, and plenty more screens and misdirection.

It's not just one. There are plenty more. It's just the one I posted. Even analysts for our opposing teams who reviewed our offense this year said the same thing. Go watch the all-22 from previous years before Linehan and after Linehan. It's clear as day once you do.

You are just fooled into believing JG and Jerry's BS about our offense being Dak friendly. There is nothing QB friendly about this offense. Especially with the garbage at WR/TE the team started the season with.

It doesn't?!?!?!??!!? Scotty is that you lol

They ran more play-action in Dak’s first year in the first 8 games than Romo in his highest usage year . When Garrett started to be banished from play calling, they were last in the league in play-action. Linehan dumbed down the routes, including those for Dez for Dak.

Those are facts...

I honestly can’t recall if he bobbled it. But then again if you are expecting Jarwin to make a play for you, you’ll likely end up disappointed.

LOL

The play that got punched out. The tight end was actually bobbling the ball when the defender hit it. No defender and he might have dropped it anyway.

Ask T.O. about routes he could and couldn't run... *sniff*

Not a great throw. Not a terrible throw.

I wonder what happens if the TE doesn’t try to high point the ball and just lets it come down to him?

Not blaming the TE. Just pointing out that the talentless hack Charles Davis created a narrative immediately and everybody followed it like mindless
Sheep instead of thinking about the totality of the olay, critically.

No they don’t. Just because a play-book has some of the same options, doesn’t mean they haven’t changed the offense. You can ignore it all you want, but reality is reality. We’ve essentially eliminated the seven step drop for Dak, go more spread like he did in college, heavy read option, way more screens and lining up Zeke our wide, more mid-direction including bootlegs and so on.

Of course we got Linehan in the first place, because neither Jerry nor Jason wanted to change the offense completely and this was with Romo here.

If you look again the ball was coming out of Jar Jar Binks hands either way he was going to drop that ball
