I got to be honest. I kind of like the guy.

The Eagles have a lot of picks and have to rework that defense. They were just way too soft last year.

But Kolb can sling it and they have a few weapons. Celek, McCoy, Jackson, Maclin.

Hopefully they dont get Earl Thomas

Okay, I think it is just me, but I am more fearful now of the Eagles than I was before, and less fearful of the Commanders. I don't understand how a select few of you EVERY YEAR are like "OMG REDSKINZ R CONTENDRZ THIS YR THEY WERE OFFSEASON CHAMPZ"

I still haven't seen it happen yet. Still.

Kolb is far scarier than McNabb at this juncture. Kolb showed flashes of greatness while he was on the field, and we've known what to expect from McNabb for years.

If McNabb couldn't get it done with that ridiculous pass rush D he had, his better-than-average line, the most versatile RB in the game, and the likes of TO in his prime, DJack, Maclin....it's not happening.

Who's he got? LJ, Santana Moss, and Malcolm Kelly?

What are your opinions? For me, it's that the Eagles got scarier, and the Commanders didn't.

Now I'm just fearful that we're going to see Eric Berry as a Commander and Earl Thomas as an Eagle.

Ugh. Romo better be dead on if they are both in-division.

Can kolb handle the pressure of playing in that city, and coming behind the best QB in franchise history. That's the question.

Thanks for starting this thread.

We all needed your insight on this.

Commanders are better, bottom line.

I still think they finish last in the division, unless one of the other 3 have a rash of injuries to key players.

The Commanders might be better, because yes, McNabb is better than Campbell. But that doesn't change the futility of the situation. The Commanders still suck, and will still be bottom-feeders in the division.

That's like being upset because your enemy in a war has upgraded from sticks to swords when you're carrying AK's.

that could be 8-8. Anyone saying they would rather face mcnabb than campbell is a fool. Again, wacth how shanny puts parts around mcnabb to help him succeed like a consistent running game.

Oh, you mean when Kolb threw 3 picks against the amazing Saints secondary, or when he had that career game AGAINST THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS?

When did Kolb show signs of greatness??

I remember him playing average vs. a good Saints Defense and padding his stats Vs. a mediocre Cheifs Defense

Kolbs still hasn't show signs of being a quality starting QB in the league.

The Eagles seem to think he will be the future but I will reserve my judgment till I see him play out a full NFL season.

Kevin Kolb is getting a lot of love for basically 2 games of decent play. He racked up a lot of yds in a blowout loss to the Saints and had a good game vs a poor KC defense. Both games at home. It'll be interesting to see how he holds up over a season as THE man.
