i would def do it- any idea what part ya want to go to? i have been to kingston five times and if i can make it there you will def be safe in a more tourist friendly city. All you have to do is be smart and dont do stupid stuff like wander around back alleys at night or head into bad neighborhoods looking for the ganja haha. Really the majortiy of the people there live by the code of respect and wont let others mess with ya. They will prob tell ya to stay inside of your resort for the most part depending on where ya are, but a good cab driver can be better then a police escort. Its all about respect. I would prob me more afraid to go to philly. Id say Yea, i liked it better then the bahamas. Since we worked in kingston i have never stayed in negril or montego bay but have flown into montego and done the tourist thing in Ocho Rios and enjoyed it there. Pretty sure Negril is whre the party is so depends what your lookin for.

Oh man I forgot I posted this question. No we have no idea where we want to go. It's still up in the air and the women are all afraid of the high crime situation over there...

Yo we are wanting to go to Jamaica mon this summer but keep hearing that crime, murders, and car jackings are at an all time high. Any word for the tourist angle? Yea or nay?
