Love it, Bob. Heaviest I've flown myself is a newer Baron. I wish I still had my 182 RG. Bought it for 42K. Rented it to the FBI for the most part when not using it. Paid for itself. Big loser on selling that one. Be safe.

Do you still fly? Live in the DFW area? I keep my instructor certificates current, if you want a BFR or IPC, we can work out a CZ discount. I have over 3,000 hours of dual given.

I don't even have a current license. I'm sure I could get around esp with that new fangled GPS stuff! :) I don't fly or race (much) anymore. Every once in awhile I'll go up with someone and putter about but I've not landed an aircraft in probably twenty years or so now. I appreciate the offer though. I'm mostly into offshore fishing.

The wife is a solo flight away from her license that she started almost 20 years ago in college. Does he logged hours still count or does she have to redo them? She kicking the idea around to finish it but is afraid to solo.

Technically, yes, it does count. Practically, she will have to redo a lot to get proficient enough to take the checkride.

Thanks, kind of what I figured. We have a Grumman Tiger AA-5 just sitting in the hangar. Thinking of getting it up back to speed.

That's me and my new puppy (Snickers)...I took that while we were watching Top Ten Cowboy Players on NFL Network last week. Obviously only one of us was paying attention. :)

My brother and I (red shirt) took the stadium tour. Only Jerry Jones would make you pay to take a photo on the star at mid field. I guess it was worth it though.
