Post your surprise

Toia ends up as a starter

Holden takes Tolbert's spot

Cowboys sweep Eagles in 2025

Malik Davis makes the team and plays well

Jaydon Blue gets close to 1,000 all purpose yards

Cowboys end 2025 in the top 10 run defense

I also think Cornelius ends up taking Steele's spot.

Perrion Winfrey and James Houston end up being surprise players after making the 53

We end up liking Solomon Thomas

Mazi plays better than expected
Wow, dude.

Blue will have an injury riddled year and will not be able to handle the use, like some expect.

Mafah will be a pleasant surprise.

Mazi spends more game days as inactive(coaches choice) than active.

Although Micah is a great jersey seller, JJ can't keep him and gets a draft haul.

Schotty is more of a buddy than coach. It will show on the field with inconsistent effort and preparedness.

Despite having a great WR duo this year, Cowboys go 6-11.

Reality sets in early for the fans. Game one.

-Cowboys trade for a DT who has been an early round bust, backup, or aging player that was about to be cut.

-Cowboys sign Stephon Gilmore
If the Cowboys were going to sign Gilmore, wouldn't they have done it already? Why sign Ojemudia if they were going to sign Gilmore? I am not trying to be snarky, just pondering these questions. Then again, it's the Cowboys so anything is possible.

I have a feeling something is going to happen with Sam Williams, either a cut or trade. It is just a gut feeling.

I think if Mingo had not gotten hurt, Tolbert was going to be cut or traded.

The Cowboys have too many offensive linemen. I expect a surprise cut among them. Bass, maybe?

I don't think Wilson will be the surprise cut at S. I think it will be Bell.

I don't think there will be any surprise cuts at RB. Anyone they cut will be expected and that could be anyone but Blue and Luepke.

Schoonmaker?

Ojemudia was signed to replace Bruce Harmon who was injured and waived.

They can sign Gilmore after week one so his salary isn't fully guaranteed.

They may or may not, but they've been keeping tabs on him with prior visits. Probably comes down to money, if they waited until week 2 the annual salary isn't guaranteed, or maybe they just want to see what the young cheaper guys can do first while they wait to see the availability of Diggs and Revel before making a final decision.

Any Cowboys related surprise between now and game 4?

Don't include anything related to Micah.

Biggest cut surprises?

Surprise starters for game 1?

Shotty coach of the year?

Some of mine:

Safety Donovan Wilson cut.
-- That's 6M they don't have to pay.

LB Clark starts (in 3 LB sets).

CB Zion Childress is the Nickel CB.

OG Booker is the 2nd best OG in the NFL thru 4 games.

LT Nathan Thomas starts game 1.
- Guyton not enough practice time after recovering from injury.

QB Grier cut.
- Stays on practice squad for 3 games then signed to 53.
- Active ps call- up on game days.

One or both of Booth and Mukuamu cut.

Pickens and CeeDee top WR duo in first goalie.

For fun:
Milton completes 70% of passes in the final preseason game.
- OK, just joking on this one...

Milton is the backup QB for game 1 but only used for Tush-Push plays.
- Makes highlight reel for doing backflip over the entire OL/DL on 4th and 1 at the goalline.
cowboys beat Philly week 1?

What do you think the Netflix series is about? To get the public ready for the Cowboys 30 for 30 season

I don't have any surprises, but I can tell you this dono is not getting cut. They have the money if this was a cap thing and they needed to add a player to get money and need to cut somebody maybe the dudes having one of his best camps him and hooker are playing really well... I don't think they're getting supplanted,

I know we got some young guys that are hungry to get in there but he don't make that much money to be cutting him...

I mean that's my opinion is maybe the surprise is he's not getting cut, I know everybody seems to be thinking that and you forgot to add in trading Tolbert seems to be the other weird, odd narrative, that's not going to happen.

so my surprise is there's players that you think are going elsewhere that are not going to get cut it's those two they're not getting traded or cut..

I think if Mingo had not gotten hurt, Tolbert was going to be cut or traded.
He was NOT...What you think you're seeing and hearing i'm sorry it's not the truth he was making this team no matter what unless they need a surprise trade if they're desperate they were not letting him go because somehow he's being outplayed by Mingo he was not

He would be a very productive WR3 splitting time with Turpin You're trying to dismiss 600 yards and seven touchdowns last year and that was actually pretty solid for what he was involved in and now that he's going to be more open because of Lamb and Pickens he'll be important to this offense.....

I'm not saying he's a big piece but you're sure trying to let go a good player as if you see something I'm telling whatever you're seeing and hearing it's a false narrative when he's in real games with the real starters then you'll see he has a lot to offer the team it may be quiet and understated but seven touchdowns is something you just don't sneeze at...

Here’s my shocker…..

This not so great to begin with team is hit hard with injuries per usual, wins 5-6 games…and the injuries are the running excuse….also per usual.

Nothing is done over the off-season to improve except a draft that the FO and most fans overrate, and next season is even worse, all while they claim to be cap poor….a situation that was supposed to be avoided by being cheap when they actually had a shot with a few supplements years ago.

-Team finally moves on from Mazi either released or traded. Winfrey becomes the starter and reminds many of McClain.
-Terrence Steele has a big rebound season and becomes one of the best run tackles in the league.
-Schoonmaker, Richards are among the surprise cuts.

- Nate Thomas keeps job at LT. Guyton gets moved back to RT.

- Dono Wilson is cut.

- Mazi is cut. Flus brings in a vet, but goes with the rookie at 1T.

- Milton is on PS all year. I think Romo sat for 3 years. Milton should too.

- I got Grier at QB2. He can step in for 3-4 games if need be (hope not). Milton got a lot of work to do to be serviceable IMO.

- Eazy E gets 6.5+ sacks as a rookie.

- Revell gets activated by week 10. Diggs gets cut, and Bland gets extended.

- Childress is our new J-Lew in the slot. Kid seems to have "it" factor.
You almost had me going your list was good until you got to week 10 for a revel he is not that far out... Diggs will not get cut in the room is too banged up He will be needed more than you think he's under contract he doesn't make that much money you don't cut a guy midway through the season after your rookie gets back that makes no sense But after the season maybe they make that choice between he and Bland but his cost goes significantly down You may be able to keep both...

I'm saying there's no way in hell Trayvon Diggs gets cut from this team this year....Next offseason traded? or cut, maybe.. The Cowboy fan I'm hoping he has his best season he bounces back we find a way to keep both of them...
