Post your surprise

-Team finally moves on from Mazi either released or traded. Winfrey becomes the starter and reminds many of McClain.
-Terrence Steele has a big rebound season and becomes one of the best run tackles in the league.
-Schoonmaker, Richards are among the surprise cuts.
McClain...Rolando McClain?

I too think they will be a very fine pair. Tyler is certainly already in contention as a LG. I am quite high on Booker but don't want to disrespect any veteran RG's until he has some games under his belt.

I have said all off-season that I believe this interior will be much better than what we have seen in quite some time.

We will have one day with no Jerry, Micha, mazi, Dak threads

McClain...Rolando McClain?
Yes. Our DT Perrion Winfrey will remind many of former Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain..

I saw it too. Just didn't want to be nitpicky. He likely was thinking someone else and just said McClain
Kinda funny tho.

Just another Hall of Fame player who never played in a Super Bowl because he played his whole career in Dallas - that list just keeps on growing.
Super Bowl? How about barely played in any Playoffs games.

McClain...Rolando McClain?
He T. McClain has been gone since the 2016 season and you might be the only fan that remembers him.

I'll say Winfrey reminds me of Golston.
- Not as tall but both have very long arms.

Winfrey played some snaps at DE in the final ps game and had some pressures from that spot.

Payton Turner played some snaps inside.

As a utility DL with position flex, I've seen more from Winfrey than from Turner.
- Much more energy from Winfrey.

Turner has the Mazi look of "I don't really enjoy this".

Any Cowboys related surprise between now and game 4?

Don't include anything related to Micah.

Biggest cut surprises?

Surprise starters for game 1?

Shotty coach of the year?

Some of mine:

Safety Donovan Wilson cut.
-- That's 6M they don't have to pay.

LB Clark starts (in 3 LB sets).

CB Zion Childress is the Nickel CB.

OG Booker is the 2nd best OG in the NFL thru 4 games.

LT Nathan Thomas starts game 1.
- Guyton not enough practice time after recovering from injury.

QB Grier cut.
- Stays on practice squad for 3 games then signed to 53.
- Active ps call- up on game days.

One or both of Booth and Mukuamu cut.

Pickens and CeeDee top WR duo in first goalie.

For fun:
Milton completes 70% of passes in the final preseason game.
- OK, just joking on this one...

Milton is the backup QB for game 1 but only used for Tush-Push plays.
- Makes highlight reel for doing backflip over the entire OL/DL on 4th and 1 at the goalline.

Milton sets new franchises records in INTs in one game after Dak gets benched after three.

Winfrey makes it. If he doesn't he'll go elsewhere.

As far as McClain, I thought maybe he meant Irving and just said McClain.

That said, Winfrey reminds me a bit of David Irving.

I think people are also underestimating Mazi at this point.

After we got Houston, I was pretty sure Turner is done here. I still think that. Maybe PS.

We have a new starting RT by the end of the season.
I am convinced the right tackle position will be manned by Cornelious at some point in the future, this kid looks like a player. He looks like a dancing bear and he is good at both run blocking and pass blocking.

Mazi cut or traded for a 7th round pick.

Guy is even invisible in preseason against 3rd stringers.

Doesn't deserve to be on the roster. If he is, it's just the organizations unwillingness to cut a 1st rounder

Mecah claims his back is injured and doesn't play week 1.

Sorry, didn't follow instructions

Shotty will start crying as the clock winds down when they get their first win.
I hope Schottenheimer is crying on September 4 tears of joy, and Philadelphia after they raise the banner, are crying the Dallas Cowboys just beat us at our house blues.

He'll need to make the roster as a first step, but I agree. What I've seen has been promising and I believe our OL coaching structure is improved for the development of our young players.
