Postgame Thoughts

Bull nuggets.

No, facts.. you can’t move once the whistle is blown. That’s why they blow the whistle. The DL jumped after the whistle was blown because of the movement made AFTER the whistle was blown..

Hahahahaha

Okay.

Hey, how did Amari Cooper finish with 180 and 2 TD? Did Zeke and the defense throw him the ball?
Since you asked. He caught a 5 yarder and ran for 35 to get a TD, then caught a 11-12 yrd pass and ran for 78-79 yrds to get a TD. Just make sure you give the credit where it is due. Cooper made those plays not Dak.

He’s sure handed. That isn’t useless.
That's the only reason he's back there...to catch punts. He doesn't return many and most of the time he catches them deep like on the 10 yard line. With this offense we need all the help we can get.

Silly exaggerations. Almost like you people have an agenda. LOL!

Dak’s 2nd TD pass was 21 yards in the air, not 11-12. Nice try! Oh, and it was an absolute strike.

Let’s be sure to re-count every TD pass by every QB this season! Let’s strip the QB of credit for every one in which the WR had great YAC!

My thoughts.

-Dak had a few nice plays, but a lot where he showed his weaknesses. Poor pocket presence, horrible mechanics even when not pressured and missing wide open targets. We need to get him outside the pocket more and play to his strengths. More read option.

-Zeke is getting stronger week by week. Making it look easy.

-Cooper is the real deal...I didn't think it was a good trade when we made it but he has made me a believer. Seems like he has meshed with the team as well.

-Beasley isn't getting much action. Surprising with the play of Cooper and Zeke. Lack of a a legit receiving option at TE probably hurts Beasley more than anyone else.

-Kudos to Sua Filo and Fleming, and of course Looney. Prior to this year Looney just seemed like a clown, but he got himself into better shape and has been an above average fill in for Frederick. Can you imagine us a year ago if we had to replace three OL in a game. Amazing what one year's difference is. It seems we have solid depth on the OL for once. The other guy RIchmond did ok when he got a few plays in too. And that doesn't even consider the guy we got from KC that went down with an injury.

-Just pay D. Law and get it over with. He is worth it. He plays hard every down and is a factor against the run and the pass.

-Tyrone Crawford is playing to a level probably higher than he ever has. He might be overpaid, but he is very valuable to this team.

-Randy Gregory is getting better every week, flashing more and more. Will be interesting to see the pass rush when Irving comes back.

-Byron Jones is playing like the best corner in the league. What a revelation.

-Xavier Woods is getting better and better.

-Special teams might be the team's biggest weakness and can be so game changing.

I really just think this team is starting to come around. THere is a ton of talent on the defense and they are just a player or two from being a dominant defense. They are already probably a top 5 unit...but it is annoying how at times they can just get torched. It still pretty much is going to come down to Dak. He needs to make more plays...but the one saving grace is that he isn't turning the ball over.

Beasley is actually getting doubled a lot. Teams are just playing more cover 1 press man coverage on the outside and Beasley normally gets filtered to the inside where LBs are doubling him from what I’m seeing.

I just want Garrett to address the team about stupidity Zeke putting Dak in the Salvation Army bucket Cooper's free throw shot over the goalposts which could have been construed as a prop enough of this **** already. Man up Garrett take control.
yes Zekes stupid penalty basically gave them a very short field and a TD . Garrett has no control or respect . We work that hard and get a TD then give it right back to them by not playing smart

I saw no turnovers for the 3rd straight game, 3 TD and a 3rd straight win.

If you saw anything different, get new bifocals.

I like the 3 straight wins too!! I’m just saying they are happening in spite of Dak .. I’ve been a huge Dak supporter but I just can’t anymore .. this team Is loaded with talent ... they need a better qb and I think this team can be scary good... it’s just not going to happen with him

-Randy Gregory and D-Law are hitting their stride as a bookend tandem. We need to upgrade the middle of the DL and invest in the position early in the draft or through free agency.

-Special teams needs to play better. Giving up two short field tds because of breakdowns in special teams not good.

-glad to see Cooper go off and dak have a good game.

-glad to see turnovers by the secondary for a change.

-glad that we grinded out hard rushing yards and didn't abandon the run.

Good win and effort overcoming typical mistakes were we breakdown and implode. Like the big plays to tight ends.

Some people just learned a lesson in QB play tonight

You might be right. I didn't buy Game Pass this year and it is so hard to see watching the broadcast.

Jerry, please get rid of the Salvation Army end zone red bucket for thanksgiving games. Game officials are just waiting to throw a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct following Cowboys touchdown celebrations (T.O. started it). lol. Just give the S Army a helluva big check every thanksgiving.

It was a really ugly offensive performance with a handful of excellent plays. We had at least three 3 and outs. Our defense got some turnovers, but we allowed a back up QB with 3 backup lineman to make way to many plays. Garrett and Linehan basically shut the offense down and allowed the Skins back into the game. Dak made some plays, but he missed on way to many others( I was a huge Dak supporter, but I’m starting to wonder about his ability to throw the intermediate and long pass).
Poor play calling and coaching at the end Geez have to play aggressive enough to get the 1st and close the game out .

Here’s the problem: every bad throw or bad play by Dak is viewed as proof that he sucks.

He had a few bad ones today but made FAR more good plays than bad.

Then when he makes a GREAT play, it’s dismissed. “Well, Cooper was great after the catch! Doesn’t count!”

He just put up a 121.6 passer rating, 3 TD and 0 turnovers. He’s 28-15 as a starter and is only 25 years old. He’s on pace for a 2nd division title in 3 years.

Yeah, I’m excited. He’s starting to look like 2016 Dak again. So sorry, haters!

This will cost us a game at some point because our Kitty Kat coach has no control over the kids . Take it out of there Jerry

Yes, the second pass was actually over 20 yards....but you have to admit his passing is a very mixed bag. He only had one or two throws all game more than 10 yds down the field. There was the miss of Brown for a TD, the awful short hop where his feet were all over the place and the pass to Gallup was at least 3 yds short of where it should have been.

We are only going to go as far as Dak leads us, he needs to start hitting the open guys. I know there are going to be misses into tight coverage...but you have to make the wide open plays. Basically we have shown we are not going to be a big play offense....we don't get anything 30+ yards down the field. As such, youhave to nail the wide open ones.

I only see success with this offense when the QB starts throwing particularly outside, challenging the press coverage deep. He should actually be having a field day with these coverages. But then defenses wouldn’t be scoring these looks as much, but a lot of it is obviously dictated by Zeke with the 8 men in the box.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful day for food, football and alcohol.
