I hate Jpp but if we could sign him for that it's a bargain ( and it'll hurt the Giants ) I really think we'll sign one of those DE's

Was marenneli on the lions staff when they drafted Fairley ?

I could be way off on the JPP money, but he's been a little up and down

Marinelli was already with CHI when Fairley was drafted in 2011

I would make run at Fairley. Also, There is no way I am giving McClain 3 year deal when he barely made it thru 1 season. His deal should be 2/2m. Carter will get better contract elsewhere. Spencer is complete waste and its time to move on. Dunbar did absolutely nothing and can't pick up blitz (which is mandatory with Romo back). I would let Free & Parnell walk unless they want to play for Vet min. Murray will get atleast 6M year so he is out. Resigning Durant for 2/5M would be smart.

I've seen JPP's name mentioned a lot this week. Not sure why. His best years are in the rear view mirrow.

No they're not! He's only 25-26 years old. He could rejuvenate his career with Rod, easily. If we can get him, we should.

I'm with you on Fairley, McClain and Dunbar. I think Fairley can be a pretty good 1 tech if he's healthy and I think Randle can do much of what Dunbar can do, and more.

But I do think we should keep Spencer if he's willing to play for less money, he looked good at the end if the year and will take Selvie's spot on the roster. I'd also try and keep Carter with an incentive based contract. I would rather have him than McClain and resign Durant to let him play the middle.

May not be true. He had more pressures and was more efficient this year this his breakout 2011 season. The biggest thing with him that year was timing. Still a very good player, and I bet marinelli would make him into something special.... Specialer.

Personally, I REALLY hope we go after Greg Hardy because I truly believe he can be signed at half the cost he would've demanded had he played this year. I think teams might be a little apprehensive to shell out big bucks to the guy due to the situation he was/is in and if Jerruh can write up an INCENTIVE-laden deal similar to Melton's, why not? Other than Hardy, I would be almost as ecstatic if we signed JPP though his history of back injuries at such a young age scares the living **** out of me. The overall point that I am trying to make, however, is that I truly believe IF Jerruh & Co do in fact pay up and acquire ONE of these young, big-time D-Ends, Look the **** out because this defense will be COMING.

I'd love Greg Hardy but I think he probably ruffled too many feathers with that whole thing. Especially with all the stuff JWitt does with domestic abuse issues, hard for me to imagine you're going to have the poster boy for activism against domestic abuse and Greg Hardy in the same locker room. I can't see the future but that's my opinion.

I think we're going to look hard at JPP to see what his numbers end up being. The guy is a legitimate blue chipper when he's healthy, the problem is "when" he's healthy. I literally have no idea what he'll command but if he can come to Dallas and play up to his talent level, people will take notice.

I like Suh and really want him, I just think he's going to cost too much money. I hate the salary cap.

In the free agents Suh would be nice but we can sign 2-3 of these guys for the same price. Fairley and Hughes then grab Hardy on incentive based. That gives us DLaw, Draft pick, Hardy and Hughes on the end. Great rotation

Not bad, but Spencer/Gardner, Crawford/McClain, Suh/Brent, Mincey/DLaw isn't bad either

I wouldn't guarantee a lot of money to anyone except the big guys- Dez, Suh, Murray, JPP

Everyone else would be on a prove it deal. If they can get more money elsewhere they can go.

Spencer got better as the year went on and can play the run and pass at SDE. He was even playing some SLB in the playoffs.

I would tender Dunbar and see if makes it thru camp. if a rookie can beat him out, so be it.

We should def keep one out of Free/Parnell. Only need to draft OL late for depth at RT and C.

I think people think JPP is as good as he was 3 years ago. If he was that good the Giants would retain his services. But he's simply not. And nowhere near.
