Bunch of JAG are just that. I take quality over quantity every day. It like saying you rather have 3 Haydens vs 1 Suh. No go for me.

I assume you are hoping to get lucky and sign some quality players in the cheap because they have not reached their potential. That's very different. At the same time. It's not easy to discover unrealized talents.

Hughes at 4 year 32. Come in man. Pass on that. Guy is helped with the help of mario Dareus and Williams. I like him but not a that price. I don't think he will be able to produce in dallas like he did in Buffalo.

No thanks to Hardy. Been out all year and should be in jail.

7 a year for Robin is to much for a 1 tech. Give me Paea and a mid round pick. Save the money.

Yeeeaaaah, gotta agree with bkight on this one and It's kind of a no-brainer lol. No offense Irvin88, but this notion where we sign Greg Hardy, Nick Fairley, and Jerry Hughes is nothing short of what we like to call a PIPE DREAM, and a BIG *** one at that lol. Don't get me wrong, I have been a BIG advocate of signing Greg Hardy in FA as long as he can agree to an incentive-laden deal that could end up garnering Hardy top-5 DL money if he fulfills the incentives. That being said, YOUR strategy of signing Hardy in addition to Fairley AND Jerry Hughes is downright impossible BUT again, this is JMHO, crazier things have happened...

I think his point is signing 3 above average to talents helps the team right away since the defense is not 1 player away. The talent on the defense is average adding one guy that can get 8 sacks fromt he DT position while awesome should not break the bank. Now if you can get an edge rusher that can get you 10+ sacks, add another above average DT to go with Crawford and maybe another DL or LB you elevate the talent across the board not just in one area.

I think the gameplan is probably going to be the same as last year just with more money to spend. We will probably look for 2nd tier guys on the DL (instead of 3rd tier) who are good scheme fits and won't break the bank.

Unfortunately, I don't think we have the coin to go after JPP, Suh or Hardy. We'll probably make a run at a guy like Sheard or Graham. I don't like the Chicago DT (Peae, ?sp) because he looked terrible against us but Marinelli probably has a better idea of what he can do than anyone else.

Yes, at this point in time you have to consider why would a players current team let them leave.

Hardy - Their owner is conservative and Hardy has his legal issues.
Sheard - He is a 4-3 DE stuck in a 3-4.
Graham - He is a 4-3 DE stuck in a 3-4.
McPhee - He looks like a 4-3 DE stuck in a 3-4.
Suh - Due to his past pay/contract the Franchise Tag would be 26.7M. It would only be around 12M for most DTs.
Hughes - No real reason unless the Bills are cap strapped. He might be an even better fit in their new 3-4 than he was as a 4-3 DE.
Fairly - If Suh stays they can only spend so much on DL.

Give me McPhee, Sheard and Fairley. This wouldn't break our bank and it wouldn't make Dline help a high priority in the draft. This will prevent a desperation move to trade up to draft need.

I don't want Fairley. Doesn't he have major issues in the past with injury, conditioning and being a knucklehead. He is not a RKG and certainly not someone I would spend a lot of money on.

We are not getting all 3,I see us getting a FA De and a FA CB.
