You show me skill positions that can successfully score touchdowns with bottom of the league QB play....especially when that wr1 is injured.
I honestly believe we would've scored more touchdowns with Romo and I am sure you would agree with that as well. If you believe that, you must believe that Romo wouldn't have been rushing for those touchdowns. No, McFadden, Bryant, Williams, Bease and Witten would've all benefited from having a QB that can change plays at the line of scrimmage, convert redzone opportunities and keep defenses honest.
I'm not saying TWilliams has to be cut, but he didn't stand out as the WR1 this year.
If we draft a Braxton Miller than TWill is overpaid as a WR3 or WR4 and that money can be used to sign a CB2 or RB1 or FS. Add his money to Gachkar and DMC and we have a starter somewhere else for 5m cap hit.
We can't keep using good enough as the standard. 5 or 6 average players can pay for 2 good players and a bunch of rookies.
