Second-year defensive end Charles Tapper caught some attention by meeting running back Rod Smith in the backfield and putting some pressure on backup QB Kellen Moore despite being held. Tapper will play a lot Thursday in the Hall of Fame Game after missing his rookie season with a back injury.

-

Serious question. Is this the most impressive training camp from a Cowboy ever?

His legend is becoming second only to Jaylon Smith. Honestly, I'm pretty excited to see what he can do

It does make you rethink your opinion about him. Maybe he thought it would be easier? Maybe he struggles to handle adversity? Maybe he's just immature?

He was a near lock for my own original 53 to start training camp. Now? Not so much.
It's early give him time. Patience my man patience.

lol I always wondered what it would be like to take a year or two and not watch any sports at all..

And now I can vicariously live through you and watch your reactions to new developments.

I've done it for alot longer than that, probably at least a 4 year break I would guess. Alot longer than that from the NBA, I've had to catch up alot on both.

It takes a while to catch up, you don't know any of the new guys (players or posters for that matter) and if your interested you have to study and read up. Took me a while, since I was so into before we came to this site, then dropped out for a while. Lurked for a while til I figured things out (didn't want to sound too out of date), you don't realize how much you actually missed til you come back.

Came back, and I was thinking, what is a 'like'???...never had seen that before and didn't know what it was. Some people had tens of thousands of likes and I didn't even know how to do it.

That makes two of us. I think he is going to be a factor this year, assuming he is healthy. He may be one of the players that most have forgotten about due to his injury last year that really becomes a force on defense. If so, the 2016 draft class becomes one for the ages assuming we don't lose them for their career due to injury.

Growing and growing!

:omg:

I know its just one game but the TD cemented his spot on the roster imo. The boys drafted this kid to take Witten's place and Rico and the team both knew this wasn't going to be something they had to rush. Just my opinion here reading through the tea leaves but if things continue to progress next year I could see a Gates/Henry type of role. I knew when he grabbed that TD there was a smile on your face!

It's weird but Gates came to mind last night watching Rico play.......let's hope he stays more healthy then Gates but I would take that production for sure
