Yeah, the coaches didn't activate him for a reason I guess. They think we have enough depth for the game at DT.
I bet Hayden plays. Regardless the Lions O-line is below average.

They have until Saturday at around 3:00 pm to active somebody from the Practice Squad.

Why don't our players get flu shots. Not 100% effective but if everyone has them you dramatically reduce these issues

Agree, but this years version of the flu ( even with the shot) is nasty, and multiphased. Just getting over 3 weeks of it myself after getting Flu shot a month before I came down with it.

problem is the vaccine they are giving is for 2 types of flu the one that many are coming down with there was no flu shot for that and CDC said it would take 6 months to produce it for this strain of flu

Agree. All I know it that it's really nasty. Head/stuffy then runny nose, then chest congestion, then stomach flu..... Worst one I ever had, and many in our area ( Fla) coming down with the same symptoms

High fever etc. Then when asked by Derek, the other host, why he didn't wear the mask his doctor told him to wear on the plane he said because Instagram Twitter and such would have made fun of him.

Playing with an illness is mental. Dirk and MJ did it on the biggest stage.

Dirk and MJ weren't running into 300 pound humans down after down.

You can sneak rest while on a basketball court. YOu can't while being an effective defensive tackle.

In short horrible analogy.

That's actually not entirely accurate. It does protect against several common strains that would be far more prevalent without it.

UPDATE

An allergic reaction has put Tyrone Crawford on the injury report heading into Sunday’s game, sources said.

The Cowboys starting defensive tackle went through the first two days of practice this week without a problem. But he did not practice Friday after suffering an allergic reaction the night before, sources say. He appeared on the injury report as questionable, meaning there is a 50-50 chance he’ll play.

Privately, Cowboys officials are optimistic Crawford will be able to play against Detroit in the Wild Card game.

Most allergic reactions shouldn't be enough to put someone out of a game 4 days later with adequate medical treatment unless it was some sort of an anaphylactic emergency. If it were I think we'd have heard about him being in hospital so I doubt it is that serious.

It sounds like there is a good chance he should be playing then.

But we should still fire Eatman for getting on the plane with the flu as the team heads for a playoff game the next week.
