Practice Squad Candidates

He's a rookie playing next to other 3rd stringers. It happens.
Been better than XSF who is not a rookie and people want on the roster rather than the PS.

So now it's some other blockers next to him fault that Hyatt is getting overpowered or guys flying past him ?
I guess they should have assigned a TE to stay in to block and help Mitch as well ?

Jelks lasted until the 7th round. This could be a case of fans over evaluating our own players. As we all often do, as well as under rating them too. I put Joe Jackson in that category to. But he may make it as Quinn is suspended. Then they have 2 weeks to decide on him from there.

Thompson is interesting though. Some think he will make it some say he bounced around the NFL and has good days and bad days. I will watch to see how Powell gets more comfortable with the system and he may make it to the 53 over Iloka and Thompson. His 1st game he had a very bad play and a few decent p[lays. Against the Rams he looked better.

Each his own I guess, but imo, this is where I throw the 7th round downward look out the window, history has been littered with discovered "hidden gems' around the NFL.

Heck, I believe Jay Ratliff was a 7th round pick himself and he turned that very late round slide into a few pro bowl invites. It is rare but at times,, you can luck up like that.
by that's when you go by what you’re seeing as an eyeball test. Is that 7th round pick impressing you.. or not ?

Where in the hell did I say that?
Jesus, some people's agendas are just wayyyyy to strong for them to think logically.

This is where you would reply
"Oh so since Ratliff was a 7th rounder all 7th rounders are going to turn into pro bowlers."

****ing on Hyatt and praising Jelks is...... let's just say odd

1) Jelks has impressed, whereas Hyatt has not. ..simple math.
2) As I've said also, it's rare but at times, you can luck up like that .

now if i'm misunderstanding, please let me know, but imo Hyatt's one on one struggles has nothing to do with playing next to other 3rd string blockers - the dude just sux.. at this time, and at this NFL level.
