I mean, it makes sense, and I think Pete would do well to play CFL, X League (which is starting soon), or UFL. He'd at least get game reps that way, and the Cowboys do usually draw at least from the UFL.

That really goes for a lot of players that probably shouldn't accept practice squad places in the NFL you know some of these kids you try to go back to college they should also find another Football League to continue to play in to develop because just hanging around whether not being used much but practice they are slowing their progress down.

Yeah honestly his best shot is here. He’s gonna be the 3rd or 4th best somewhere else. I have a feeling his feelings are hurt though.

Well like I said he he made it back around and that is a good thing And people were worried there was backlash there was anger there was emotions and me It didn't matter to me who the 3rd quarterback was but if he's going to be **** hurt he needs to grow a thicker skin until he gets a little bit more clout in the NFL right now he thinks he's better than he is and that's the worst kind a personality to have you need to humble yourself put your head down and go after your goal which would be find a way to make yourself look better in practice and if somehow Sam Howell gets in a game it doesn't look very good guess what your next man up...


That to me was what he needed all along milton needs another offseason another great preseason showing and I think that he will with patience be the backup here if he keeps working hard and keeps his attitude and his comments and his mannerisms just keep yourself humble from what I'm hearing that was one of the reasons that he got traded for New England because he was making waves whether they're small waves or big waves he was feeling he was better than Drake May And if he thinks he's better than the quarterbacks on this roster despite what the coaches think he needs to keep that mostly to himself...

Something you should talk about with your family and your friends and tell them to keep it on the down low you don't make waves as a 3rd string QB who by the way just had a terrible college career didn't look great last year with the Cowboys so he's a little bit premature with his expectations..

Exactly, and I think, of all the American sports, American Football ESPECIALLY needs a minor league compared to practice squad. Sure, practice helps players, but nothing helps more than game reps. Unfortunately, that doesn't exist atm officially. But, the Japanese X League, CFL, and UFL can be used as viable options imo, especially if it's a player who is going to be at the end of a roster. At least by playing in one of those leagues, players can get game reps. And yes, I think highly of the Japanese X League, as I've made clear on this forum for the longest time.
