They had no reason to trade Armstrong. If he signs somewhere else next year, they will get a draft pick for him. They had an abundance of talent at that specific spot in that specific role and all the league knew it.
The choice you had, then, was to trade an Armstrong kind of asset and hope that Land could make the jump, or do what they did.
Well, no, they could have had tempting offers. That's the part we can't know. But all things being equal, I agree with that assessment (... and edited my post to reflect that).had no reason to trade Armstrong
Not sure if the team simply just wants to move on.I think Cox will be PS
Gone.Any word on Land yet?
Archer has been a little spotty the last couple years. Gehlken is moneyGehlken? He works in the building.
I tell people don’t trust sources that aren’t him or Archer. Both are as close as you can be
Land, Bostic and Cropper were really the only ones I wantedsince only Land lost to waivers I suspect we will see a lot of the guys on the PS that we wanted/expected
You might want a centerLand, Bostic and Cropper were really the only ones I wanted
I think they view Cox as garbageI think Cox will be PS
Probably going to see Farniok back here sometime this afternoon. I would feel more comfortable putting a backup center on the 53, but what do I know. You might want a center
Sieg will re-sign once they put Nahshon Wright on IR.i wanna see if were-sign McKeon to the practice squad.
Gotta get that long snapper and backup center on return.
For all they know, he could have gotten cut because he couldnt learn the playsNever fails. The week one scouting signing.
