I think there will be a few more moves on the PS. I really don't see the need to have 2 WRs and 3 OGs. They really need a RB to take snaps for the scout team. I'm going to assume Moore is back in some capacity or they also need a QB to run the scout team.

Oops , not that guy, had all the measurables but couldn't cut it . If Skipper is like that then its a wasted experiment.
He simply can't bend the hips that low.... Simply math being 6'10

No real suprises here. I am glad White is back though

I like B. Brown, Neal, White and get the OL. Can't believe they brought Lenoir back...thought Nwachukwa did much more. Definitely thought Joseph Jones would be back as well as Lenny Jones, if not just for the short term while we have guys suspended. Guess we will see if Nzeocha makes it here now that he was cut, he just hasn't done anything to make himself valuable.

I think they see Edwards being a good developmental OL, same with Theaker. I know they liked Skipper but don't see him ever making the 53. Showers getting another year to see if he can make the switch to safety. He did show a willingness to stick his nose in there but needs time to develop his skills.

What do you think about Cleary? I wonder if they try to sign him to the PS at some point or just keep him on speed dial in case of an injury.

I'm surprised he cleared waivers honestly. I think the team didn't like his lack of position flex. He really didn't look very good at G during camp. I do think he's the safest option outside of Chaz Green if something would happen to Tyron for any length of time though. From that perspective the move is a little risky.

Where did Lenny Jones end up? i thought he would be a potential ps candidate.

I am curious about him myself. I liked what I saw from him in the preseason. Shame he doesnt appear to be sticking around.

Nowhere. Still unsigned

The one player of ours we released, that signed anywhere was Andy Jones to my knowledge.

I thought the limit was two seasons on the PS, I posted before that he wasn't eligible but I'm glad I'm wrong.
I almost feel bad for Showers. I guess I feel like they kind of reward him with a practice squad spot for being so willing to do anything the team asks him to do.

Showers is the scout team QB

Great point, Green and Bell took a lot of reps at OG and could play there if (really) needed, if Cleary is limited to OT and roster spots are scarce, it explains the move.

Still, you would think a guy that played OK in a starting role would get claimed on waivers pretty quickly.

He does have upside though, I thought he played well in the preseason games. In some years when they had limited depth and carried 5 safties he would have made the 53 IMO.

So you are saying he is more than a Jesse Holley type token player. Holley was eventually on the 53, so there's that.

I think so, he has LB-ish size at 6'2" and 230 pounds and he clearly has the brains to play QB. He had some good hits in preseason also, I think with more time in coverage he could definitely challenge for a roster spot next year.
