That's good. MA's ability to run good routes will help us.

I hope this means Holloman gets to finally play coming off that injury.

@DezBryant (back) looks fine at #cowboys practice except for his white under-tights and his black hi-tops. Those = not so fine :)
This is a good sign. Epidural is working. If his back was REALLY bad off...the impact of an epidural wears off quickly. My mother in law took won for back pain. Over the course of a couple of months she took maybe 3. She was trying to avoid surgery. Doctor told her that she could not have another one. She either have to deal with the pain or have surgery. So hopefully Dez can make it through the rest of the season and get the proper rest/rehab this offseason.

Really, Fisher? Fashion advice for football practice?

"No DeMarcus Ware, Justin Durant, Sean Lee, Orlando Scandrick, JJ Wilcox, Morris Claiborne." Guh.

Glad to hear Holloman is back. I'd like to see him earn some defensive snaps. He's got a chance to be a playmaker. I know we're (justifiably) mad at Heath, but I'm still interested in seeing he and Wilcox taking some passing down reps in a game. I think those two can help us improve S coverage in some situations. Don't want to take Church off the field too much, though. We really gotta get Hatcher back and healthy. He was the other big ingredient missing from that defense last Sunday. With him and Lee out, it's really not a shocker that Drew Brees and Sproles ate our lunch for us. There were going to nibble on it plenty, no matter what, but it turned into an all-you-can-eat buffet pretty quickly.

Hope Miles' hamstring holds up until next game.

If they are smart...they will continue to use Williams and Beasley. Gradually increase his percentage of snaps as the season gets long. But no longer should he be relied upon to be an every down WR. Not good for him or the team.

If we use Heath along with Wilcox, I'd like to see Church up at the line as the WLB. He's quick to the ball and it wouldn't surprise me if he has an impact stopping the run similar to Lavonte David.

Miles was running 1st team in practice, but that doesn't mean he won't be subbed alot.

There are situations where that'd be interesting to see. Heck, we're getting to the point where it might be practical. We desperately need Hatcher back on that DL. And Ware healthy enough to play (who knows if that's going to happen, given that he missed three games and still came back significantly hobbled. Hopefully he didn't reinjure anything, and the extra two weeks off will help rather than just get him back to where he was last week).

That's interesting. They originally said that he would be a LB in Kiffin's scheme. He appears to have been bypassed at DE by Everett Brown.

i dont see him on the team past this year unless he shows something at the LB position.

He does not appear to have the speed of most LBs in Kiffin's scheme; however, he was more of a coverage player than pass rusher in college.

At this point why not try that. Can't be worse than what we've seen out our D.
