CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Claiborne, Wilcox/Johnson, Carr, Church, Scandrick, Lee, Carter, Durant, Ratliff, Hatcher, Spencer, Ware (100%) sounds potentially like a good defense. With Crawford and Bass in rotation. We'll never know because over half of them are missing.

I blame Jerry.

Interesting.

I didn't know that every team but the Cowboys could lose 50% of their projected starting Dline before the season even kicks off, their top 2 Dline back ups, a HoF DE for half the season, an all pro MLB , their starting corner and safety and just plug the next man in...no problem.

Yup, look at the Denver Broncos. Lost their Pro Bowl DE to a fax machine mishap, lost their all-world OLB to a marijurana mishap, lost their starting CB to an injured foot, lost their Pro Bowl starting LT for the year, etc. etc. etc. And guess what? They were and still are the best team in the league. We JUST lost Sean Lee, so don't go making noise about "losing an all pro MLB." We haven't yet seen the full impact of that (it will be severe). If the team wanted to project Spencer and Ratliff as part of our starting d-line, that's on them. They were obviously very mistaken. That's not bad luck, that's just dumb.

Yeah not like Spencer was a pro bowler or anything..... Oh wait.

And look at what this scheme has done for hatcher. Ratliff would have been better.

And comparing us to a team with the best qb in history having the best quarterback season ever makes sense.... No actually it doesn't.

Please, Spencer is a hack who picked it up a notch in his contract season. He was a first round pick that disappeared playing opposite Ware during his prime years.

The same goes for Hatcher. Where were these guys during their whole tenure with the team. And while we chime in that the scheme has been good for Hatcher, it's all but minimized Ware, Lee and Carter, all of whom looked better in the 3 - 4.

You clearly didn't understand Spencer's role in the 3-4.

Nor Hatcher's for that matter.

Of course not......no one truly knew Spencer's role which the shills claimed were not measured by sacks.....that is, until he got 11 in his contract year and now we can't do without him. I like how that works.
