Pray for our son

Thoughts are with yas. I lived near there for three years and never saw an elk.
I recall our conversations a while back. I remember you were stationed up there. Yeah the Elk I didn't know was a thing up in that region. I'm hoping he moves back on base to the barracks so he doesn't have to chance that drive again on that stretch of highway. Just for safety.

Thank you everyone.. Update. The floor nurse just contacted us and said he had a ruptured large intestine from the seatbelt. They had to remove a section of his intestine. He's in good spirits. Not sure what the recovery timeframe will be. He's already wanting to get out by Friday lol. His entire command team is there in the room with him showing support and love. Thank God he's gonna be ok. Could have been worse.
Great news man .......

Prayers for your son Rayman. I know it is tough not being there. Prayers for you and your family who are probably sick with worry. God bless you guys

Hoping for a speedy recovery.
If they are letting his command in the room I would take it he came through the surgery with flying colors.
Probably hold him a few more days to make sure there is no infection from the surgery or no possible septic shock due to the intestines being involved but chances are they would have found that issue if it were going to happen.

Keep positive thoughts. Thankfully the younger tend to get through tough situations in quick fashion compared to us older folk who take longer to heal.

Great news! Sounds like a tough kid so I have no doubt he'll recover quickly. Wishing the best.

Amen. Its been driving us nuts. Now they are watching making sure no infection sets in. I sure appreciate the prayers. We been thru alot the last 2 years.. Now this. lol . To summarize, I am now my wifes caregiver due to her disabilities, been fighting with the SSA to find her help. Not to mention I had Achilles surgery last spring and am just now feeling up to snuff. lol This message board helps me in so many ways. I consider you all close friends. My main goal now is keeping my wife calm, and pain free. She receives plasma injections once a month and its been taxing on us financially, physically, as we have to drive many hours away to get that treatment. Then this happened on top of that. But I know we have friends behind us like you guys. I am moved. He has 1 more year remaining, which will make 6 that hes been away. We can't wait for the day hes comes back to us.

I don't do prayers, but he and you certainly have my highest hopes!
Interesting. Would you say that you are an Atheist? Have you always been this way? Lots of questions and I mean nothing by any of it!

I don't know if we're allowed to talk about that here, but simple answer; Yes, I'm an atheist and have been since I was a teenager or early twenties.
