When Super Bowls get put totally on the shoulders of a QB that’s when you can run into big trouble. Dan Marino was forced to shoulder the load against San Francisco and lost his only Super Bowl appearance. John Elway lost three Super Bowls having to carry the Broncos. The Legion of boom shut down Peyton Manning and the Broncos offensive juggernaut back in 2013. We all know how great Mahomes is but KC’s defense better show up. If you force any QB to have to play come back all day you’ll end up getting beat.

Yep. You can add the 1982 Commanders and the 2002 Raiders to the mix. Gamblers always favor the offense over the defense. Speaking of Elway and the Broncos, Denver was a 3 point favorite in the SB against the Commanders.
