Pre-game thread

I want to see Prescott make plays within the pocket. If he bails and gashes them for 40 on the ground it will mean nothing to me. That's sandlot crap. It's not sustainable. It's a great element to have in your repertoire but you have to be able to consistently produce in the pocket in the NFL if you want to be a top tier QB. And we shouldn't want anything other than a top tier QB.

A 12 yard slant in the face of a pass rush will excite me more than any highlight play derived from his feet.

Depends who plays the most with the better players.

So...should the guy playing with better players against better players do better than the scrubs going against the scrubs? I think Showers has the easiest task.

ESPN analysts showing us some love.. I think I like this new crew.

Dang it Randy hating.

Because the scrubs are more of an unknown factor. Anything can happen, but it's usually more sloppy than structured. So just my opinion the better prepared players have a chance of doing better.

Randy Moss is an idiot and his time on TV will be short. He's playing the Keyshawn Berman pet monkey role.

That's what I keep saying about a lot of these college guys like Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes that are getting hyped right now.

Donovan McNabb and Russell Wilson say hello. They both did a lot with their legs and it aided them as a passer and as a young QB coming into the league.

I do want to see him working as a passer too, but why would you take away one of his weapons?

Will be interesting to see what kind of protection he gets. Randy Moss just kind of threw the gauntlet down saying the offensive line was great with Murray but he hasn't seen much the past two years (LOL at that since Murray was here two years ago).

He'll hang in there. He's known for having courage in the pocket. Although Romo friendly offense may not be kind to him.

Berman is probably getting pissed that Moss keeps talking when he is.

Also, I cringe every time they call the segment come on man.

Trent Dilfer stole my thunder, Hassleback said romo was one of the 10 best qb's and dilfer said he is one of the 10 best players.

If only cowboys fans and the local media could understand how good the guy is.
Don't speak for this Cowboy fan. I acknowledge Romo's greatness.
