The NFL are the ones that always put us in the spot light prime time opening season, because you either love or hate the Cowboys, but then the media complains that we are always in the spot light. Put the other teams in the spot light and media people will still complain about the Cowboys. No win situation.

..wow, that's brutal schedule.

I'm still sticking with 10-7, maybe squeak in playoffs with WC.

I'll predict the season results..........They'll make the playoffs with either a 10-7 or 9-8 record won't win their division and will lose in the first round and just remember "We're all in baby!"

I think the 72 Dolphins are getting worried, lol.
Not too many of them around to celebrate anymore.
Bob Griese, Larry Little, Larry Csonka, Mecury Morris, Vern Den Herder, Paul Warfield, Dick Anderson, Manny Fernandez, among 20 or so other teammates are still with us.
Jim Langer, Jake Scott, Garo Yepremian, Jim Kiick, Bob Kuechenberg, Nick Buoniconti, and Coach Don Shula and others have all passed away over the last decade.

The last time the Cowboys played the Giants or a division rival to open the season was in 2012. Tradition?
Giants versus Cowboys - week 1____
2012___DAL @ NYG Sept 5th
2013___NYG @ DAL Sept 8th
2015___NYG @ DAL Sept 13th
2016___NYG @ DAL Sept 11th
2017___NYG @ DAL Sept 10th
2019___NYG @ DAL Sept 8th
2023___DAL @ NYG Sept 10th

Seven times over a dozen seasons span.

Perfect throwaway game for that Europe series. lol
It's a "home game" for a team coming off a 2-15 season with a rookie QB who clearly struggled...and now they have a new HC ---fifth individual put in that position (interim + declared HC - since Ron Rivera was dismissed 5 & 1/2 years ago).
Cowboys last played overseas a decade ago (2014).
Their time has come around to represent the league = increase the NFL's fanbase in Europe...just like the other teams have to do.

First week will almost surely be a division game.
Dan Quinn - Cowboys DC for the previous three seasons (2021-23).
He becomes the new HC in "Old D.C."
Convinces the newbie FO to sign up a few of his guys that played for him down in Texas.
NFL 2024 Season..week 1- has Dallas on the road versus Washington.
It's either a late Sunday afternoon nationally televised game on FOX - or the Sunday night game on NBC.
(Could MNF on ESPN/ABC be in the mix too?)
