Good effort but I don't think they open with SF. It would not surprise me if they start us off with the Commanders or Lions. But man, I look at their opponents and I see so many opportunities for smackdowns. I can see the TV cameras cut away to Jerry in his booth as the score piles up against the Cowboys.
If you look at the home/away, besides at 49ers, the rest favors us.

1. We'll have at least 5 prime-time games.
2. The season starter will be against the 49ers.
3. We'll play on the road the last week against either NY or WA.
4. Texans fans will take over the stadium, and I don't care. I hope I make good money on that game.

With the schedule release being on Thursday, predict the 2024 schedule for the Dallas Cowboys. Bonus bragging rights for correctly choosing the time (I will be using Eastern time as I live in Cleveland) and network.

Week 1: San Francisco (820 pm NBC)
Week 2: at Washington (430 CBS)
Week 3: at Carolina (1 FOX)
Week 4: Houston (820 ESPN)
Week 5: New York Giants (820 NBC)
Week 6: at Atlanta (1 FOX)
Week 7: at Cleveland (1 FOX)
Week 8: Cincinnati (1 CBS)
Week 9: bye
Week 10: at Philly (430 FOX)
Week 11: Tampa Bay (1 FOX)
Week 12: at Pittsburgh (430 FOX)
Week 13 (Thanksgiving): New Orleans (430 FOX)
Week 14: Washington (TNF 730 Prime)
Week 15: Philly (820 NBC)
Week 16: at Detroit (820 NBC)
Week 17: Baltimore (430 CBS)
Week 18: at New York Giants (430 FOX)
We play at San Francisco

I like it but just don’t see how the nfl gives us three consecutive home games towards the end of the year.

Perhaps, but it'd also make sense to have Washington after the Saints on Thanksgiving and Philly after. Unless they put Washington on Thanksgiving again. I figured they probably wouldn't want to be repetitive though.

They had us play them in 2010, and we play the NFC South, so it made sense to me to have them play it then. Especially since the Thanksgiving game this year is on FOX.
Back then the network schedule was regimented to conference matchups. Sunday day games - AFC v. AFC on CBS, NFC v. NFC on FOX, AFC on the road v. NFC on CBS, NFC on the road v. AFC on FOX.
Nowadays with the cross-network scheduling, an AFC team could be the Cowboys opponent on Thanksgiving even if the game is on FOX.
Exhibit A___the Cowboys hosted their NFC division rival Commanders on Thanksgiving last year- yet the game was televised on CBS.
