if the weather is bad in GB and NE, what do people see? I can see it being in JAX's favor, but i'm not sure who of the NFC can beat GB in bad weather? SEA stinks on the road (5 losses) but GB will definitely have the 12th man, and possibly the idea of Favre's last game...?
I think the Patriots are too reliant on the pass and if there is bad weather and both teams have to run they will be in trouble. I'd take San Diego, Indy and Jacksonville over them in a bad weather game where passing is limited.

Agree on no one beating GB in bad weather at Lambeau.

I’d pick Seahawks over Skins but which Seattle team will show up?
And i think not picking the Patriots to be in the Super Bowl is wishful thinking.

You may be right, and Im not defending the skin, but I see the Giants a lot weakier than them, and the Bucs stronger than the Seahawks...

The Giants can score with Teams... the Skins cannot. The Giants are a true Jekyl and Hyde team... dangerous one day and not the next.

I dont know where we rank the Bucs really... all posers to be exposed in playoffs. Skins are one and done.

Mainly because the Giants are a better team than the Commanders (although the Skins are playing well lately)

More talent, perhaps. Better team, no. Not after our second game against them. The only one in the NFC who I fear could beat us even if we play the way we did yesterday are you guys.

You have an ability to rally in the 4th quarter that's beyond any of the other teams in our conference.

I don't want to look too far ahead though cause its a moot point if we can't beat Seattle.

Not necessarily. The Pats have struggled to beat good teams over the last half of the season. The only teams they have dominated in the last 8 games were divisional doormats like the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins. They beat the Stealers pretty easily but then so have some other teams as Pittsburgh has been wildly inconsistent all year.

Teams like the Colts, Eagles, Ravens, and Giants had leads late in the game only to blow them with dumb penalties or costly mistakes that the Pats capitalized on.

To me, the Patriots are not the dominant team they were early in the season (the same can be said of us though) and if that doesn't change then they will get beat by some team like the Jags or Colts in the playoffs.

The Giants make more mistakes than good ones, Eli will throw for 2 TD, but then turn the ball over 4 times... I really dont see the Giants winning without Shockey in either... The only thing that the bucs lack of is a high scoring offense and thats their only weakness... in other aspects they are a pretty solid team and I expect the bucs winning in the end.

Then, I dont see the Skins winning on Seattle, but I really think that if one team of Wash or NY can win, thats the skins over Seattle... The skins doesnt have a solid team, but I think that momentum will put them very near Seattle on that game, then, homefield advantage could be the difference and I expect the ´hawks to win a close one.

Sorry.... you guys are the 6th seed for a reason. You got lucky that Minny and other choked down the stretch.

Please dont put your team in an elite class where the only ones you fear is the best in the NFC. You AINT there and no smoke and mirrors will get you there.

Our point production during the winning streak hasn't been shabby at all...most importantly we aren't turning the ball over and killing ourselves in the clutch of games.

I agree the Giants are dangerous, but so are we. They don't strike fear in me at all. Romo handled us in the second half of the first game at Dallas. We've always done fairly well against Eli.

Puhleeze man. We took the Vikings when it counted and while they were on a 5 game win streak at their house. They may have choked but we shoved it down their throat.

I realize you don't want us to be there, but we are and honestly the only team in the NFC that can beat us if we don't beat ourselves are you guys.

We are 9-7 and six seed, but sure aren't playing like it right now. If we don't make it to the second round I will be surprised.

Didn't GB just show that they play poorly in bad weather against Chicago? They run a WCO offense so if anything you'd think they would suffer more under adverse conditions.

If you eliminate us you will be playing the Giants in the NFC Championship game.

HAHA - I welcome the playoff game. You wont hold up your end though.

Where are all these muscles coming from? "Beer Muscles".... about a month ago you guys were posting things like "lets face it, we are not very good".... "this team is more than just a few players away" etc... etc..

AND NOW..... you feel like you are an Elite team? or close to it? THAT is amazing.

Good Luck with that Mindset.

Between the spark that Todd Collins has given and the emotion of playing for Sean Taylor, you guys have played very well of late, but the fact remains that you don't have the talent of the other teams in the playoffs and it is likely to show soon. Collins has been a scrub in the league for a long time for a reason. he is playing very well right now but how long can that last? He is an improvement over Campbell which raises several questions for you guys in the offseason.

The Giants have been too up and down all year to strike fear in anyone's heart but they still have a lot of talent and are dangerous when they are on. You guys stunk it up pretty badly for a stretch of the season and are not predictable either.

Tampa is very good at home, and is a warm weather team. That's why I pick GB over them. Tampa's record in cold weather is really poor.

I honestly don't think you can beat Seattle in their house. Few teams could.

I love it man. This is what its all about being in the tournament. We are going to get everyones best its the playoffs. If your best is good enough to beat our best, hats off.

The advantage we have now is that we aren't beating ourselves in games like we did earlier in the year. Granted on the road in a playoff atmosphere, Collins may start making mistakes and getting rattled. If we don't play well and/or get forced in to turnovers we aren't good enough to still win.

But we did beat the Giants and the Vikings in hostile environments in recent weeks, so whomever beats us is going to have to take it from us we aren't going to gift wrap it

I will bet you $100 dollars Patriots make the Super Bowl. :)

Long-term I have concerns about the stability of the franchise, but we are finally playing to or close to our potential this year and finishing games.

We've only been "handled" in one game this year. That suggests we had the ability all along to be better but weren't ready to finish off good teams in the clutch. Good teams haven't been embarrassing us except for the one game.

I personally wouldn't bet on anything in the NFL but you go ahead. :D

How many people would have bet that the Rams would have all of their offensive starters healthy for most of the year and wind up 3-13 and ranked 24th on offense?

This season has been so unpredictable it is crazy! I wouldn't bet a dollar that the Cowboys won't lose this coming weekend.

Yeah that was a nice *cough*cough fumble by Portis yesterday that could have cost you the game if our 2nd and 3rd stringers didnt drop all those balls.... a few for TD's. But lets not talk reality. Back to your world.

Thats funny... "we".... you probably dont know the names of half of the players that have replaced some of your starters and if you do know there names... how do you know what there potential is and if they have reached it? ... probably didnt even know Collins was on the team before Campbell got hurt :laugh2:

Haha yea i agree, but the Patriots getting to the Super Bowl is the closest thing to a sure thing. I can’t stand the Patriots, but i don’t think anyone is even close to these guys.
