Our rookies will start to come on by game 3. They will be effective, but really start to make plays by game three.

Cowboys will split the season with the Iggles. Sweep the Skins and Giants and find themselves at 11-5, and hosting a wild card game at Texas Stadium.

From there, there is no telling. This could be a magical season, then again, this could be a solid season where we at least make the playoffs.

Hard to go on record when it isn't showing who voted. ;)

11-5 here.

11-5 here.

Strange on my screen it shows who voted and even says this at the top:

"Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected."

11-5 here.

I just used a test account with no special access and I could view the users who had voted in the poll. Does it not show up for you?

It works for me...

I went with 10-6. I think we're able to get back to the level we were two years ago, but the fact there are so many new players will prevent the squad from maximizing its talent early in the season.

It is now. No idea why it wasn't before.

I'll go with 10-6.........it all depends on the O......D will do the job.

I really wanted to say 11-5.. but had to go with 9-7.. I just think there are a few variables that could happen any year that cannot really be predicted.. I am cautiously optimistic that we will be better than 9-7 though

10-6 prediction here. The D has been upgraded and should be very solid, if not spectacular. Running game is looking very good this year. BP knows how to play to Bledsoe's strengths...Bledsoe is a far more capable Bus Driver than you know who. Witten is a SuperSTAR in the making and the return of Campbell can only be good news. My biggest question marks are the O-Line and the WR's. I think 10-6 is very possible, which should put us in the Playoffs.

I hope you 11-5 folks are right but I think 10-6 is more likely. Unlike some others, I think we are more likely to start fast and finish a bit more slowly. The Cowboys have definitely upgraded the defense but unless the youngsters come on strong we still lack depth at WR. Injuries at that position are likely and Bledsoe will become less effective. An overall lack of depth on the offense may cause further damage. A questionable FS position on the defense will also get worse as the year progresses and teams figure out our schemes.

A lot more pieces are in place but this team will go through some growing pains. The keys will be how quickly the players on D get acclimated to the new scheme and how well the OL and Bledsoe play.

I'm going to be optimistic and call 9-7 with hopes of much better things to come next year.

I'd say 10-6 and that is being optimistic. Injuries were very key last year, hopefully we are lucky this year and don't have many.

I will say 11-5 in 2005. We went 10-6 two years ago with much less.

8-8...relying too much on rookies in the defense's front seven to be above .500.

That's exactly how I feel except I said 10-6.

I will go on record and say we are going to go 11-5 this year. With the talent we added concentrating on the D, I just dont see us not being in many games, and I think that we will win most close games.

Certainly I can see a lot of 13-10, 17-14, 21-17 type games, I dont think we will become an offensive juggernaut, but instead will live and die by the D.

Looking at the schedule, I see Dallas being 6-2 at the halfway point. I went a little conservative with a 5-3 second half.

If the young pups mature better than I expect, then it wouldn't surprise me to see Dallas challenge for a bye. Dallas is much more talented and deeper than last season.
