What happens if Zeke losing in court around week 14?
Is it possible he could be suspended and miss the playoffs?
It's not going to court anytime soon. What happens if Zeke losing in court around week 14?

It baffles me how far he fell in some leagues. This isn't an injury that will nag him throughout the entire season. When I drafted him, I believed, based on how his case was going, he would not serve the suspension this year. But my worst case scenario (from a fantasy standpoint) is that I lose him for 6 weeks then get him back after that and certainly have him available for the playoffs. I took him in the first round in every league I was in, including one where I was the first overall and one where I was as low as 13.I'm in a league with a bunch of pats fans, I managed to get Dez at 19 & Zeke at 22.
I got something similar, but at 14 and 19. I got Antonio Brown at 3. I got Zeke at 19 in another League. Dez was already gone.I'm in a league with a bunch of pats fans, I managed to get Dez at 19 & Zeke at 22.
I'd like to believe this, but the problem is they have no shame. They got scolded in the NFLPA arbitration which (rightfully) accused them of hiding revenues from the players. They literally tried to steal over $100 million from the players and when they got caught, simply shrugged their shoulders without so much as an apology.Much to their chagrin, they're most likely discovering that they're not beyond negative legal scrutiny after all. The way that Judge Mazzant scolded them in his closing remarks must certainly have been a humbling experience. Withholding evidence as they intentionally did was a shockingly wrongful, incredibly foolish and treatment that went well outside the bounds of justice.

Exactly. Reading what lawyers on cz are saying is that the CA5 is very slow. I guess because they are backed up with a lot of cases.
I know that it doesn't necessarily fit here, but this imagery made me laugh, and it involves Mara.
Its seems like the NFL would have a hard time winning on the pre-award filing if it was determined that the arbitration process was fundamentally unfair.
If timeliness of filing (ripeness)is the league's strongest argument, they're in real trouble strategically.
Not sure about 5th Circuit, but I waited 7 months to argue an appeal in my Circuit. It's generally lengthy and expect a few resets for a variety of reasons (this varies but isn't uncommon at all).
That's fantastic because usually QBs drives the spread.Interesting to note, Vegas thinks zeke is only worth a half point over his replacement.
