The stats are similar. But you can't use them as a comparison since they play for different teams, that play different teams. If you switched QBs, would the stats still look similar? But regardless of that, Dak has very good stats this year.

Clearly not Mahomes' best year. That doesn't take away from Dak having a good year, but it makes for a weaker comparison. For instance, Mahomes had a 105.2 rating last year with 41 TDs and 12 interceptions. What Dak is doing this year is more comparable to that, which is very good news for Dak since Mahomes was MVP last year.
