You could look at it another way, he had 60 plus more rushes, because he had the worse QB of the top 3 rushers, because as much as we cut down Eli he is still above Dak.

Heck, if we're just comparing rookie seasons, Zeke punched in 17 scores there. Who's to say Barkley doesn't have a scoring drought in his 3rd season as well?

I'll say it again: TDs come and go, because they're a high-variance stat. Have some patience. If a guy is getting touches inside the 5, the scores will come.

You can “say it again”, they didn’t “come and go” for Adrian Peterson or most other “Elite” RBs

And Zeke scores his TDs behind a great O-line. Barkley is behind a makeshift one

They both suffer from a bad Oline. Daks lack of awareness would be better masked with a healthy Oline. If that is his biggest issue, and I can agree that it is, then recreating a top Oline would solve most of that problem. As in we didn't see much of that in 2016.

The only excuse you can make for Zeke’s fumbles is he touches the ball a lot as a runner and receiver. He’s had over 300 carries this season and set a franchise record for RBs with 77 receptions. He’s taking a pounding this season, defenses are stacking up against him. I’m more concerned about Dak’s fumbles than Zeke’s. With Dak take the sack but don’t fumble. His pocket awareness hasn’t been very good.

Why is it a dream? Frederick got hurt and we used a 2nd round pick on Connor Williams that should be much improved his 2nd year. We also have some quality Oline depth on the team already.

Another offseason with Williams, get Frederick back and although I dont think the line can be the best in the NFL it should be top 5 again.

The dream is thinking that Mahones or Brady is walking through that door. We also have tons of cap room going forward and should be able to get another lineman if we need one.

If Frederick isnt the same guy, then I agree that dream would be toast.

You get 6 fumbles is still high even with 380 touches? Stop the BS.

Only Cohen and McAffrey are higher when adjusting.

Barkley has touched the ball over 300 times and has 0 fumbles. Gurley has 300 and 1 fumble.

And yeah, Zeke leads the NFL in touches - so why not bring this up when you discuss the BS “leads the league in rushing” crap? Adjust the yards if Barkley and Gurley had a similar amount of touches - it doesn’t look as impressive
