Anyway. This idea that Dak has no running game, despite being a hyperbole, is a wee bit ignorant of the fact that a WCO relies on a short passing game to compensate for what it lacks in that area, unlike a pro-set one.

Didn't think about it from that perspective, but you are right. When you combine the offensive strategy with his salary...it's kind of the way it's designed to work.

Well, we do always say the game is win in the trenches. I'm not sure if Romo ever had both, a good O-line and a good D-line. While this O-line isn't as good as it once was, it's still probably better than most.

Statistically...Prescott's best season since becoming the starter. The running game is the weakest he has ever had. The 2023 numbers are good enough to reach the Superbowl. However, other factors that will affect the final outcome are:

1. Getting more from Luepke (blocking), Dowdle and Pollard in the run game. They did just that against the Commanders.
2. Getting better play from the linebacker group against the run. The return of Hankins should help.
3. Good protection from the o-line. TJ Bass has shown some skills if there are problems at guard.

The stars are more aligned now than they've ever been since 1995. Not sure if they have what it takes to knock out the 49ers but they should at least get the chance to find out. If this team had 2016 Zeke, it would be a no-brainer.

Agreed on last point. 49ers have McCaffrey which obviously gives them the advantage. Honestly, Id even take Zeke now.

I do think Dak is a much better QB now than he was early in his career, regardless of stats.

Green Bay, for example, has no Pro Bowlers, let alone All Pros on their team this year.

AC's frequency is nowhere near as much and he doesnt normally hijack threads with it that i see. He post new threads about it which I can avoid. and i have said it to him before. this was post #2 plus dak is still our QB Romo isnt

No past cowboys gets brought up as much as your idol Romo. No one is even close and it’s well past his usefulness on this board

I don’t follow AC that much but my guess is the biggest chunk of his Romo responses are replying to you Romosexuals who bring that goober up on the regular.
