At the end of the day I have no reason to not trust the team doctors.

If they think Dak is healthy enough to play he will play. If they think it’s best to not play. He won’t.

They did a great job getting Dak back from his injury and ready for the season. They can handle a calf strain.

LOL. Yeah they did such a great job that he's now suffered his 2nd injury since camp that Prescott himself admitted were caused by the ankle break.

After a team doctor for the Chargers punctured Tyrod Taylor's lung prior to a game last year when giving a painkilling shot, well, let's just say that team doctors aren't exactly infallible.

It does ultimately, but the way the doctor describes it you have to get past the inflammatory process it exacerbates. If you go by what he said we should've done it sooner so he'd be ready, that's If we didn't use a "stronger therapy."

As I'm sure you gather I don't know, but he makes it sound like our team docs neglected to speak with a specialist and we are paying for that neglect.
That dude is after clicks

A lot of what they try on athletes is cutting edge experimental that hasn't really had long-term study. They want that edge.
And willing to take the risk most patients wouldn’t because the stakes are so high.

They’re young and healthy otherwise and more likely to come out ok. But they still must sign off on any liability.

I am not saying that I agree with it. It's just what they do. They still have that "I'm young and invincible" mentality. It is what it is. At least some of those treatments work out with little long-term negative consequence.

Maybe so brother. Who am I to say? Lol
It's interesting, and he seems to know what he is talking about, but I'm no one to know better.

I guess I'll go back to blaming the refs. The team docs would have been a nice scape goat. One way or another someone's getting blamed for our misfortune. Then I got @GORICO throwing out plats like it's nothing. That dude is gonna be a hero or a chump lol. God bless him.

On the surface I would expect its safer than a lot of other therapy options, simply because it's from your own body and increases your ability to heal "naturally." Hell I bet it's a lot better for you long term than most the anti inflammatories and pain killers they are given.

Those 2 only mask problems and can lead to more damage because you can not feel it

Yeah its pretty much a whatever it takes to get the athlete on the field scenario. Then you have guys like Favre who become addicted. Which is why it never made sense to me the way the league comes down on guys for Marijuana but turns the other way with narcotics.

Favre was an addict took him a while to kick the habit

So a guy on YouTube who has never met or examined Dak and has no clue whatsoever about the severity of his injury puts out a video and some people are pretending it’s meaningful...do I have that about right???

I imagine it's exponentially more difficult living in pain and having to play through it. It's a temptation almost by necessity retirement. Even afterwards there are battle wounds that don't heal. For him to quit during his playing career is impressive.

It's food for thought, not gospel. But, we are looking to place blame if you wanna help.
