Prescott Is Just 2 INTs Away From Matching His Career High For A Season

Interceptions are never good but it's obvious this thread is more about OP personal Dak attack than anything else. Why.......we have still won 10 games, a top 3 offense, and the top 3 in average points per game. Again, you are always concerned with interceptions but I'm more concerned with Dak's confidence than the number of picks he's thrown..........as mentioned, we are still a top 5 offense.

It has been his latest theme on his anti Dak parade. He posted this about 10 times last week in several different threads.
So I guess he wanted to troll it again.

Isn't that like saying Wentz led the Eagles to a Super Bowl win when he was injured and Foles led the team?????

Well, Wentz did get them in position to get to the playoffs. Or actually they were already in, when he got inured, but sure sure about that. So yes, he contributed to that season.

What was posted is a statistical reality and a subject that many are discussing as Dak's INT's are in fact alarming, especially given he has missed 5 games this season and near a career high. Is that trolling or is that posting concerns?

This was the original comment: "We have won 10 games yes, but 4 of those have been without Dak.

Let's not act like Dak's led this team to 10 wins this season."

I was replying to the member that stated that since Dak is part of the team he did in fact lead them to 10 wins.....which is completely inaccurate as Dak had no involvement in the 4-1 record when he was injured......much like Wentz had no involvement in the Eagles playoffs considering he was injured.

I also find it funny the guy is ignoring that 5 of those interceptions hit the WRs in the hands. I mean what do you want Dak to do? Catch the ball too? Jesus. When he makes a bad read and throws a duck right to the defender. Yeah by all means pile on. Using his total number of INTs to throw shade when you darn well know he isnt responsible for every single one is disingenuous and trollish behaviour.

As I said, the purpose of the thread has little to do with the general football concept/discussion. It's nothing more than a personal attack against Dak. Never mind the D gave up 500+ yards, a 27-10 half-time lead, Dak is playing with basically one WR ( Lamb and TE ) but we still have won 10 games ( yes, Coop won 4 ), and have top 3 offenses in half dozen team stats ( Coop and Dak ). But you wanna dial in he's just two inceptions away from his career high w/o an ounce of context........So what now.
What context do you need exactly?

If you're okay with these INTs just because we score a few more PPG then fine. Personally, I am not because it puts the defense into bad positions.

Isn't that like applauding Dak for passing yards and TD's when the WR/TE/RB makes moves after the catch and breaks for a long TD? Crediting Dak with those stats while then trying to say 5 INT's weren't his fault is irrelevant.....stats are what they are.

You said in the game thread that it's getting hard to defend Dak's play, right?

It don't seem like it's getting very hard for you at all actually.

You're still calling any Cowboys fans that expect better from their QB a "troll".

You can wallow in Dak's mediocrity and praise it all you want, but let us that expect better expect better.

Yup.

If Noah Brown catches that 4 yard pass, breaks 10 tackles, and runs it for a TD they will talk about the game winning TD pass from Dak.

That's how they roll.

No question, there are reasons to be concerned about a few issues of his game (confidence, decision-making, consistency ) but being TWO picks from his career for the first time in 7 years isn't one of them.

Tell us what do you think of the 22 to 25 starting QB's that are below him?
Gosh, I like the guy, he's your total team player.
But you cannot justify him with stats you've got Pollard and Lamb who routinely make 3 yd dump offs into long, long yardage , you've got a top 3 OL giving him all day to throw AND forcing defenses to respect the run in every situation. So stats are nice, but it's poor throws and critical mistakes that will ultimately tear the heart out of every fan here.

He is inconsistent more than ever. He needs consistency. He also could use a reliable number 2 receiver and better play calling…

Boy wonder will not stick with the run even when it is humming, he wants to get back to passing and that is the problem.

It wouldn't be a concern if he didn't miss 5 games.
