Dak's game stats: 21 for 31, 243 passing yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 5 sacks, 99.3 passer rating.

This Dak stat from last night is bad?
Curious. When Romo put up decent stats while making boneheaded mistakes like turning the ball over and taking dumb sacks instead of throwing the ball away, did you excuse him?

He wanted to compete for the starting job back in training camp but they wouldn't let him. The cowboys quit on him.

So because he was going to start out the season as the backup he quit? Sounds a little wussy to me.

It was ALWAYS Romo's fault when we lost. Romo would throw for 300 yards and 3 TD's and one pick and the yoyo's would complain that the pick lost it for us.

The hate for Romo was even worse than for Dak. At least with Dak its somewhat justified. Although romo was riding the pine in his 3rd season.

When it was Romo's fault, I blamed Romo. When it was the Oline's or WRs fault, I blamed them. No bias here unlike so many.

Yeah, Dak looked really bad.
I like Dak and I really want him to succeed, his overall stats didn't look bad, his decision making is where he has lowered himself to Garrett standards. We need a good QB coach and OC, not to mention a HC. Without that, Dak will fail. Mark Sanchez and Romo were great tutors, what do you think he is learning from Rush and White?

The int was just terrible decision
You had double coverage and a guy open in the middle of the field
You can’t make that decision
That int was huge
100% agree. Absolutely pinhead decision. That one he should have thrown away way past the endzone. Got to get at least 3 points out of it.

well he did on the INT, the fumble was at least partially on the line

he was out QBed by Mariotta though

The fumble was on him.

He held the ball too long, again, missing open WRs and even if he takes the sack, it wasn't a jarring hit, he just got the ball stripped because of bad ball security.

Agreed, bro. It's so obvious Dak has regressed since Romo retired and Sanchez was cut. Garrett is an ex-QB. He should understand this. It falls squarely on him.

and a interception that the titans turned into a td and a fumble that they turned into a td yeah he sucks regardless of what the stats say
Happens to the best of them. But let's pretend that Oline had no part in this poor performance.

Well he has to be the franchise QB because you traded away your top 5 pick for a pretty good WR.

I love Dak- I am more and more off the Dak train by the day

i have made excuses for the guy, and surely the scheme is terrible; but this stat is bad

AC you and I have faithfully supported Dak and I love the guy but we could always hang our hat on the fact he could make big plays with his legs and didn't turn the ball over .

Now granted some of these TOs were tipped balls and the Oline getting penalties that created horrible down and distance situations .

Last night there was no excuse those TOs were bad decisions in a game we absolutely had to win to salvage our season . Might as well be a win or go home game and we used our first rd pick to try and secure the season .

Throwing into doublecoverage in the middle of the field on the goal line took me back to a time I didn't think we would ever revisit while Dak was our QB and now what I was most proud of in him is gone . he leads the league in multiple TO Games . Im frustrated and discouraged to say the least . That was our season and a game that could have been easily won
