I have so much hope for the kid, it's like he till a step backwards. The problems seems like 40% Dak and 60% coaching!
They are not putting him in a position to succeed and now he's playing like he's scared or someting. His pocket presence has sucked big time, he's playing like he doesn't trust his O-line and that's affecting his game
Dak is playing like he doesn't trust himself. You know what any good coach does to players they can't coach or progress after 2-3 years? Cut 'em...

Your post seems about right. I can't tell if it's 50/50 coach player or what

LOL.

- 2 of those sacks were because the doofus scrambled out of the pocket and instead of just shot putting the ball into the sidelines to prevent a sack, he actually ran out of bounds to take a sack.

I was going to mention this. I was screaming at the TV when he ran out of bounds for a loss instead of just tossing the ball away. I distinctly remember during his first year, I was thinking he was making sound decisions with the ball. I don't see that anymore...

Pretty simple. You don't protect the ball you don't play. Think Bill Parcells said that.

He was trying to gain a yard or two. By the time he realized he was not going to get the edge along the sideline, he obviously just tucked the ball without thinking of just throwing it away as he was reaching the sideline.

AC you and I have faithfully supported Dak and I love the guy but we could always hang our hat on the fact he could make big plays with his legs and didn't turn the ball over .

Now granted some of these TOs were tipped balls and the Oline getting penalties that created horrible down and distance situations .

Last night there was no excuse those TOs were bad decisions in a game we absolutely had to win to salvage our season . Might as well be a win or go home game and we used our first rd pick to try and secure the season .

Throwing into doublecoverage in the middle of the field on the goal line took me back to a time I didn't think we would ever revisit while Dak was our QB and now what I was most proud of in him is gone . he leads the league in multiple TO Games . Im frustrated and discouraged to say the least . That was our season and a game that could have been easily won
Brother Blackrain, were you addressing me or @AmericanCowboy ? We do have the same initials and almost identical name.

It's possible. But at what point do you move on from developing a player, in that it takes too much time. I mean, I'm starting to feel that Rico is a failed experiment, and I am starting to think Rico when I think about Dak and seeing him as a failed experiment. I think Rico can eventually get better too, but is the effort worthwhile is what I am saying.
I think if you have the coaching you can develop players . I feel our players regress because of the poor coaching . I look at Josh Gordon going to the Pats and he seems to be developing and working out where before with a bad coaching staff he had problems .

Honestly I feel until we get a real coaching staff we don't know what we have in Rico or Dak . I know Dak played much better when he had Romo and Sanchez on the sideline coaching him up . Kellen Moore could in no way have the experience to draw on that those 2 did and I think Dak is lost at times with nobody with experience to turn to
