There is a huge difference between playing golf on your day off...... and competing in golf while playing football.
Do you want to win a SB or not?

The golf thing was a big distraction for Romo. As was Jessica Simpson. both were symptoms that Parcells accurately predicted about Romo wanting to be a celebrity.

I don't feel that Dak wastes as much time messing around with irrelevancies than Romo did, and I do believe Dak wants to be a champion more than Romo did. I just don't think Dak can do it.

Total failure? Because he’s suked in the playoffs. What a crock of crap.

I’d argue anyone who can start for a NFL team isn’t a total failure. Obviously some have much more success than others.
Yeah, you don't have to pile up MVPs to make a lot of money as a QB in the NFL. Daniel Jones got 160M dollar contract.

Most NFL QB’s can’t and won’t win a championship. Not all because they aren’t talented enough. Many moving parts and contributing factors.

Winning championships as only measurement of success is merely a shallow talking point spurred by media and pundits spewing it for clicks.

Right. I’m not even sure Prescott would have had this level of success if he’d of gone to a bottom feeder type team back in 2016. He of course deserves credit for making as much as he did with it. But that was a playoff caliber team just needing a healthy QB.

It matters the situation you inherit. Along with the leadership of the franchise, it’s coaching staff and team surrounding.

There’s only a handful of Elite QB’s at any given time which can single handily elevate their teams. And some it’s still not enough for more success without that supporting cast.

Currently we have only 4 NFL QB’s who have won a championship. Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson( who isn’t starting) and Stafford.

This was the expected result of him facing tougher defenses this year. He faced the worst DVOA pass defense schedule in the league last year, his best year as a pro, but that was just a coincidence according to the Dakolytes.
+1 for relevant fact.

Still, I had referenced ball accuracy stats. Do you put the ball on the player? Except for INTs you don't see coming, that shouldn't be so dependent on the defense. I can see lots of stats going down, but I'd expect accuracy ones to be among the last to drop.

Team game. Winning *games*, not just championships, isn't all on the QB.
Marino got no ring, but he was still great.

Sometimes QBs stink it up in a win, sometimes they play great in a loss.

It's also obvious that Dak's employer doesn't blame him for the lack of team success. Or he just doesn't care. The return on the investment is worth it to him. That's what he cares about.

I don't blame the guy that made the post we're referring to. In 95% of jobs, you have to be better than that. This isn't one of them. He's obviously done enough. Just like a weatherman.

Thank you for admitting the truth about Romo. Hardly anyone around here has admitted as much besides me and now you. Parcells was right about Romo (and any starting QB trying to be the best they can be). Agreed on Dak does not waste much time seeking the Hollywood limelight like Romo did, plus agree on Dak wanting to be a champion more as well. Disagree on Dak not being able to do it. He can if he had at least another weapon at WR, had a better running game and a defense who could consistently stop the run.

Again, Hollywood, what Semi-pro team did you say you played for? Stop dismissing the question.

Hell, like I said, just Google one to keep the lie going, can you do that?

Guys that want to be a champion don’t make it their top priority to reset the market at their position. I don’t begrudge Prescott getting paid but if winning is your top goal and you’re already set for life you go another way. I don’t know who wanted to win more out of 9 & 4, but neither wanted it that badly.

It is a team game. That relies on individuals to perform. QB has the most opportunity. And need to bear that responsibility and accountability.

Marino never won a super bowl. Who else on that team didn't why does nobody mention them?

HERE...is a guy..a LEADER...who flat out gets it. This was after the atlanta game the defense lost at the end:

"All I care about is wins, and that's it. So we gotta find a way to finish that game out on offense," Baker said. "I'm thinking about missing that shot to [Sterling Shepard], it should have been a touchdown and we ended up with three points. I'm just replaying that one over in my head where maybe it shouldn't have been an overtime situation."

We've talked a lot about the maturity and leadership of Baker, but it's moments like this where he's worth the money he got paid. It would have been easy to sidestep blame, especially the way the defense allowed over 500 yards to Kirk Cousins and failed to lock things down in the final minutes of the game.

That's what I thought. You are a liar. Oh well, I should have already known better.

You keep that 92g stuff to yourself, now get to cooking.
Unlike you, I don't lie. I've done what you could never do, baseball junkie. Stick to what you know, baseball. Leave football to those who have played it.

Dak takes the blame so often for team losses, yet some of you never give him credit. The minute some other QB does it, ohhh, he's a true leader. SMH
