if im dallas, i play him this year at his current contract with the new scheme and if it fails hes gone...no extension
good thing you arent a gM or dallas and he doesnt read this nonsense.. you do realize 49mil limits who we can add this year AND,

lets not ignore his cap hit and NT clause next year for 24, not sure the exact number but cut or trade in 24 hes still on the books for ton. maybe 39mil is next years cap hit.. you can NOT just eat that..if you find suitable trade partner maybe but regardless , the roster will be hard to build eating that type of money without backup plan meaning whose taking his place? hes top 10 QB and trying to find another qb to not having a losing season, be top 5 in wins since 16, ROTY, 167 tds 26 rushing tds, and only 65INTs , oh and 4 of 6 years hes got us to the playoffs all heathy years .

first 97 games hes been better than one Peyton manning who after his 8th season won a sb before that, he was 2-4 in the playoffs as well..

maybe fans have to understand thats quite resume even without a NFCCG and we cannot blame his 4 playoff exits on him 2 were squarely on the defense, in 21 on the 14 penalties, no run game and other factors like coaching. so 2022 first time we can out his name as a larger part of a loss with 2 TOS but his team failed him more than hes failed the team since 2016, those are facts and mired in a B2B 12 win playoff berths type run and can possibly build on that , you and typically keep 49mil on the books to get that bets shot to go further this year,

This dude just said he's been better than Peyton through his first 97 games.

Peyton was a 2 time MVP with 2 other top 5 MVP finishes through 7 season. Dak has been better than that?

You Dak fans are entertaining if nothing else.

"I'm excited to be a Dallas Cowboy," Prescott said (per NFL.com). "Always dreamed to be here. Now that I'm here, I don't expect to play for any other team..

Why aren’t we exploring trading Prescott? I think both sides need a change. With the contracts to Carr & Geno, I have no doubt we could trade Prescott for assets from a QB hungry team, which there are currently many.

I don’t think the defense believes in Dak. It appears we should build around our defense, especially while Micah is on his rookie deal.

To me, it’s something the team must explore.

Because his contract has a no-trade clause that the Jones' stupidly agreed to.....

Dak will be playing like Tom Brady in his prime next season because Jerry Jones said that Dak will fix all his mistakes and be another Tom Brady.

Why would Jerry lie?
No Jerry would not lie. He just spews what his pickled brain tells him to say. :lmao:

Im really curious if he tries to bend to Cowboys over a barrel again. I completely agree that he deserved a good contract last time...and I have no problem with him playing hard ball with the Jones' last time.

My opinion is...if the Cowboys are this loaded with talent and just need to fill a few holes, add depth and draft well...I would try and work out a team friendly(of course good money though) with Jerry under the promise that Jerry uses the money to add depth and not pay off a few stars and that if they win the big one or get deep in playoffs...Dak gets a really nice last contract.

They could get around it, again if the team went to Dak and said "We dont want you anymore" he would agree to hear trade offers, he may be pickky but he would allow a trade...they dont want to trade him.....

I know right! Hilarious. Prescott is a progress stopper. It's as simple as that. Very frustrating as the Cowboys are basically a quarterback away.
