Kurt Warner, who loves Romo and has been very reluctant to praise Prescott, just called him the top QB under the age of 25 (He actually had Carr ahead of Dak, but Carr turned 25 in March).

We have no idea if Prescott will end up in the category of a Romo or those other guys, but I like the spirit of the post, as opposed to the nitpicking, double standards, or just plain silence by those who can't enjoy this while it's still happening -- whatever the outcome.

I saw that, too, Percy, the Warner rankings, and LOVED that he had our rook at 2. When Dak hits his age 25 season, 3 freaking years from now, he will be a freak just like Carr. A different kind of freak (different category), but an elite freak all-the-same.

Thank you for the praise, Percy, any time I get it from you I consider it of the highest order :)

Side note: Warner belongs in one of those categories, it could be argued he was a Field General/Gunslinger -- Gunslinger (and incredibly accurate) esp in his days with Bruce, Holt and Az Zahir Hakeem (sp?)

Not really because Romo has proven in past years he's capable of more. Prescott hasn't. But he's a rookie. I'm just saying I don't believe he will ever be more than what he is now. A game manager who will need an outstanding supporting cast around him to win. He won't be a guy who hides warts like a franchise QB.
Yes.... Yes.. .Let the hate flow through you.

Some people are so egotistical that even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary , they continue to hold on to their malformed opinion . You are exhibit A.

And Wentz is getting killed by the Bengals right now.

Same here. I live in LA and its definitely not a "football town" but I laugh sometimes at fans here that rip on Goff for not playing like Dak Prescott. Prescott isn't lightning in a bottle, he is once in a lifetime lightning in a bottle.
Dallas is a big time football town. Mavs and stars are getting no love

This 2017 draft is full of #2 WR's, are they better than TWill? They will be cheaper.
DE's are also in abundance with some names like Solomon Thomas from Stanford to put on you radar. Impacting in 2017 is doubtful no matter our selection as rookies often do not provide returns for several seasons.
Free Agency will be our friend in 2017 to provide a bandaid for the defensive pressure player. Important that we free up as much money as possible to pay the piper(bye Tony).
I want a consistent #1.

Not sure who that would be in this years draft. It is a down year for #1's not saying no WR's will be drafted in round one, but the talent has not been on display as of early Dec 2016.
